New Nissan QASHQAI 2022 - PRODUCTION plant in England (this is how it's made)

Taking a look at the official Nissan footage of the production plant of the new Nissan Qashqai 2022 in Sunderland, England.
Nissan Sunderland Plant is marking the start of production of the third generation Qashqai with a renewed pledge to inspire future generations of manufacturing talent. Following a £400m investment, the latest version of the segment-defining crossover is now rolling off the plant's production Line One, as the plant celebrates 35 years of manufacturing in the UK.
Qashqai represents one in five of all cars built in Britain since its launch 14 years ago - and to celebrate the new generation model, Nissan is offering every schoolchild in North East England the opportunity to take part in a Nissan Skills Foundation event - the company's programme of activities designed to excite youngsters about careers in manufacturing and engineering.
Alan Johnson, Nissan Vice President for Manufacturing in the UK, said: "Sunderland Plant is built on 35 years of manufacturing excellence, and from the skills and expertise of our world-class team comes a car for the future.
"More than 3.5m customers have chosen a Qashqai made in Sunderland since it went on sale in 2007, and the third generation model delivers the new levels of technology, design and performance that people have come to expect from the original crossover.
Since the launch of the original model in 2007, Qashqai has broken record after record. It was the fastest UK car to reach one million, two million and three million units built, and more than 3.5 million have now been produced in Sunderland - about a third of the plant's all time total. Those numbers also mean that one in five cars built in the UK since 2007 has been a Qashqai - the highest-volume car made in Britain.
The team at the plant have undergone thousands of hours of training for the launch of Qashqai, which is designed, engineered and manufactured by Nissan in its UK facilities, supporting more than 7,000 jobs in Paddington, Maple Cross, Cranfield, Lutterworth and Sunderland, as well as a further 24,000 in the wider UK supply chain and about 5,000 in UK dealerships.
New manufacturing facilities required for new generation technology
Nissan has invested £400m into the Sunderland plant to support third-generation Qashqai production. Key investments have included a £52m second extra-large press line and scrap recycling system, called the Cyclone, which allows Qashqai to become the plant's first model built largely from aluminium
Other new facility investments include 117 new robots for the plant's Body Shop, working with both aluminium and the new ultra-high tensile steel that helps gives Qashqai its best-in-class safety performance.
New Qashqai means striking new colours in the Paint Shop, with five new two-tone combinations available. Four new robots also apply a fine layer of the latest sound-deadening technology inside the vehicle, resulting in lower cabin noise for the driver.
Qashqai is built on the Alliance CMF platform (Common Module Family), which has meant a major upgrade in Trim and Chassis suspension assembly process, with the new front and rear suspensions and steering layout supporting the car's enhanced dynamic performance.
Finally, Qashqai's advanced technology has also meant new, advanced, digital systems that programme and bring the car to life.

Yes, the plant has been *affected by the chip shortage. Most of the workers have been on furlough since March, but starting to come back online now.

ePower doesn't get released till 2022. All the 2021 Qashqai's are 1.3 Petrol with a mild hybrid battery, that's only 12v. Other makers use a 48v mild hybrid battery.

السلام عليكم المهندس شريف الدسوقي عندي مشكله مع شركة نيسان موتورز ايجيبت واريد تصعيد الامر وتوصيله الي المهندس شريف الدسوقي رئيس مجلس الادارة لاني اشتريت قشقاي من نيسان اتو ايجيبت القصراوي فرع الشيخ زايد يوم 2022/4/30 وبعد الاستلام ثاني يوم تم اكتشاف مشكله في الدهان في الباب الايسر خلفي وتم الاتصال علي مندوب اتو ايجبت واخبرني بان اليوم 2022/5/1 اجازة وبعده اجازة عيد الفطر وان اتوجه الي مركز اتو ايجيبت ك 26 الطريق الصحراوي لمعاينة السيارة وبالفعل تم الذهاب يوم 2022/5/7 وهو او يوم عمل وتم معاينة السيارة من مشرف استقبال خدمات العملاء م/ شريف بهاء وتخبرني انه لايستطيع عمل اي شيء وانه سوف يصور السيارة ويرسلها للمصنع لان السيارة جديدة ولم ترخص وبعد اسبوعين تم الاتصال بي لاحضار السيارة الي اوتو ايجيبت لا هناك لجنة من مصنع نيسان سوف تعاين السيارة وتم بالفعل معاينة السيارة وكان قرار اللجنه ان هذا ليس عيب صناعي وانه لم يحدث عندهم اي عملية دهان للسيارة وكذلك لاتوجد عمليات دهان للسيارة بانجلترا وكذلك اتو ايجيبت لم يقم بعمل اي شيء ويقول انه استلم السيارة من المصنع وتم تسليمها انا مباشرا وان المده التي جلست السياره عندهم يومين وانه تم استلامها الخميس وسلمت لنا السبت وتم تقديم سكوب لحماية المستهلك وتم تحويلنا الي لجنة كلية الهندسة جامعة عين شمس وان رسوم اللجنة 3000 جنية لذلك اطلب رقم المهندس شريف الدسوقي لعرض الموضوع عليه املا في حل الموضوع بطريقة وديه ومرفق لسعاتكم فيدو وصور توضح المشكلة ونامل منكم دعمنا للحصول علي حقنا باستبدال السيارة خصوصا انه لم ارخص السيارة حتي الان وحرام عليهم ياخذو 619000 جنيه ويستفيدون منها ويستثمروها وان لم استفد من السيارة بجنبة واحد

Hope it's made better than the 2015 model I purchased. Piece of junk! Just over 20,000 miles and I've had to change the Radiator fan motor, the Rotors, Left and Right lower control arms, Seat foam is decomposing and falling like dandruff beneath the seat. Had to have a rust spot fixed inside the rear tailgate door jam. The headliner is sagging down all over the place. Air Conditioner condenser leaking. Passenger door lock actuator has stopped working so I have to drive the car with the door unlocked. I would NEVER buy another Nissan. Never. And to add insult to injury. My local dealership doesn't have parts for this car. Everything has to be special ordered. I waited 6 months for the radiator fan motor. Even had to wait for basic service parts like brake pads. And Yes, I purchased the car, Brand new, from them. They Suck, and Nissan Sucks!

был обладателем английского нового кашкая в 2010 году, отвратительное качество автомобиля при пользовании одни проблемы....началось со стойки передней, после зимы полопались резинки уплотнители, позже замок багажника, в 10 тыс пришлось менять тормозные колодки, к 30 тысячам ступичые подшипники, потом замена свечей, сверчки по салону, и перед продажей кресло скрипели как скпипка...и тд и это по норм городсим дорогам.... А вот наша сборка и Xtrail наоборот обрадовала за 4 года только расходники....

@Dean Stoyanov you do realise that EVERY car manufacturer has similar issues with the odd Bad vehicle. I had an Audi that spent 100 days in the garage n the 1st year. My wife is on her 3rd Qashqai over 8 years and they’ve never had a fault, just routine servicing.

@@magmum1992 I've got the same shit J10. All of the garages refuse now to repair it and i do it myself. And i really understand them. It's very very hard for repairing. To have access to one, you must take off another 10. Who build this cars hate not only who will buy it, but also who will repair it. Ones to sell it i'll come back to the good old German school. there at least got some logic.
