Hey Tiago. (Off Topic) Guess who bought a Dwarf2? ME!. Now I am waiting on a 10inch Android tablet to get things going. Could you do a video on how to set the D2 up out of box to the first photo of the Moon. I notice that the feature element is not in the update and need guidance on how to align the lenses. So excited to get this going.

@@DobsonianPower I think I got the basic flow down. I am going to create a checklist that I can take out in the field with me. I think I got the polar alignment down, just point the D2 at 48 dgrees dec and to true North 357 degrees, point lens upward and calibrate, then find a planet or object and have fun. Grand Forks ND is at 47.97 degrees and the declination is +3.27. so I think my calculations will work.

@citylimitsphoto great. you know, i use the D2 at the most basic level. I don't polar align, etc. I just use it occasionally when i travel. At home i use the dobs.

3 hours? It’s in the sky all day every day. I assume you mean it’s only visible at night for you for a few hours? That will change as the season goes on. Where I’m at luckily it’s rising in the east just after sunset so I have plenty of time to observe it. I just want to get some pictures of the constellation before the nova and then a few during the nova. It’s not that visually impressive I assume, it’s just going to look like another star. I’ll be making time to see both the eclipse and the nova if it’s not cloudy.
