With blushes like these you really should tap off the excess before applying and apply with a light hand, especially if you have textured skin. Then re apple and build as you go if you want due to the pigment. The blushes are absolutely beautiful and blushes like these you can’t just dive into the pan and go straight to the skin.

Thank you for the tips! ❤️This was a first impression of the formula, I did mentioned how I would change the application when I use them again and which brush I would use with them. That a fluffier Brush worked best. I was applying the blush as I do with my other favorite blushes.

I absolutely love these. They really can’t be worn alone. Try a Matte blush first then this to pop it. But just a little because even with a little, it shimmers so much in the sun. They really are some of the best blushes I’ve ever used and I’ve been doing makeup for 20 years lol.

I’m glad you love them 🤗🩷 everyone has different opinions on makeup which makes us unique. I find these hard to work with, having to make sure you go in with the smallest amount. I prefer many other blushes formulas over these. A lot of people love them! they are super cute packaging wise and affordable. But they’re just not for me. I don’t want to worry about going in to heavy I rather work with something had buildable.

Yes I was very honest in this review it’s not a terrible blush it’s just not a product I’m currently going to reach for or suggest to others 😅 but it seems like a lot of people love the EXTREME pigment and the sheen and I’m happy it worked for them. The buttermelt bronzers are really great though!

Do you think they'd be an ok repurpose for eye-shadow? Thats usually what I do with stuff like that but I'm wondering would it be too oily for the lids.

I had to figure out on my own that I need to use a small fluffy brush instead of the big dense brush I always use. I couldn't figure out how to tone down the giant splotch. I don't think any reviews I watched mentioned that. I ended up liking Butta Together the best. It's the one I didn't buy at first since I have this shade 50 times over. I'm glad I have it though.

Hourglass blushes are the best! I appreciate seeing the natural light cheek swatches too! There’s a mauve shade I’m looking at trying ❤ but I’m glad for your honest critical review…knowing me I would have gotten more than 1 but now 1 will be enough for me 😊

First of all I love your KZbin channel❤. I think you are very talented and your voice is very calming. I already have 2 NYX bronzers and I love them both. They need to be used differently, then you used to. But that’s very great that I can see how looks color and skin when you not careful 😊.

Refresing to hear some critique once in a white. I don't think I have ever tried a milani product other than the shadow primer. I might take a look at the blushes.

I don’t agree that it’s noticibly a drugstore blush. High end brands do The shimmer blush too for one but also these are very high end feeling to me and I’ve had many high end formulas and this is the best. Everything works differently for so I guess

It’s not the shimmer that made it drugstore feeling. it’s the ability to use them, I found them difficult and the shimmer unflattering on me. This is my opinion, everyone has different opinions on makeup and that’s ok 🩷🤗

The second blush you applied looks pink online not purple. I think it was just a little too much but the color looks good on you. The colors of these blush and bronzers in this formula are so pigmented I tap or run them on the back of my hand before applying to my face so I can layer if needed since they pack a puch right out the gate. I do like the Milani blushes the hourglass bluses are good but they aren't very color inclusive. I can only wear them part of the year so I wouldn't spend the money on something I can't wear all year. I do find these blushes comparable to high end for me but you have to go light handed cause the color payoff is intense

Thank you for sharing. the formula for these I found difficult to use. Hourglass and milani give me such an effortless application. I did tap off the powder (not everytime, I don’t find it helpful to have apply your brush, and then have to make sure you tap off a large amount before applying. because that’s wasting product). Everyone has their own opinion🤗. I don’t think these blushes are terrible I just won’t be reaching for these often. Cream blushes are popular and if a blush is ever not as pigmented for you, it can be mixed with a cream blush underneath for extra staying power and more pigmentation.

I have been watching celebrity pro makeup artist Niki LaRose and she says that not only should we be tapping off the excess powder, but when a powder blush or liquid blush is very pigmented we should be working that blush into the palm of our hands or the backs of our hands first. This will remove the excess blush and it also allows the blush to spread evenly into the bristles of the brush more evenly.

You are also putting alot on. I love milani but don't care for their luminoso blush, it's too shear to me lol. I guess thats why there is a million blushes to pick from. I know for sure I'd never pay more then 10 bucks for blush lol....

Yes, I applied way too much and I mentioned that, I just applied it like I do my other blushes. This formula was not easy to use😅

Great review! Thanks for saving me some cash. I agree with you on the Milani blush for sure. I actually bought a backup of my favourite colour Dolce’ Pink. I’m 67 and somehow it doesn’t emphasize texture. Have a great day. j❤

I know everyone is raving over these but from ALL the application that I've seen so far they are way too pigmented for me. Maybe they would suit deeper skintones best but it's not for this light olive girl.

Those blushes have different finishes within the launch. Also, if you compare all of your blush comparisons to Hourglass, you will always be disappointed which leads to kind of a downer of a video. We all can’t afford Hourglass…..

Yes every blush is unique, and we all have our idea of a perfect formula. I mentioned that Milani makes amazing affordable blushes that I consider to be great like hourglass, when it comes to shimmer blush. I always mentioned affordable options.
