The throttle side rattle can be fixed by moving the switching housing closer to the center of the bars. That said, you want a little bit of play in them. If there isn’t any play they could stick. Which would be very very bad.

2GunzTony I have pretty bad OCD with gaps and stuff and have tried all these things many years ago to eliminate the “issues”. But in my experience with talking to mechanics and experienced DIY guys, that rattle is kind of a buffer built in for the throttle to snap freely.

The play in the grip... NEEDS to be there for the throttle side. Otherwise it can cause dangerous problems with it getting stuck or it can be gritty. DO NOT remove all the play in it

Hey bro, i got my lucky daves lucky 13 bars on and my throttle grip is sloppy like yours? did you end up figuring out how to fix it??

I noticed after install that had a 1/8” still left in the narrow part it cut the slack in half. One of the other commentators mentioned it and that you want to have some slack there so the throttle doesn’t get stuck open/close.

I love the look of the Biltwell grips. Way too expensive though. I did not like the feel of the throttle side. Noticed a slight binding feel to them. I think the metal on metal design is a mistake. I prefer a plastic throttle tube, much smoother feel.

I think that’s why Biltwell recommended anti seize in the grip tube. My problem with with the biltwell was how sloppy the throttle felt, but they definitely looked good on the bike. Thanks for watching.
