Matt, your Scorpion rig is so versatile and one of my favorite 4x4's in these videos. I'm surprised it is so reliable but its built tough. Those "Rock Hopper" buggies are very sweet however, expensive they are and those who drive them tend to beat them to death.

Guys, i've recently fitted my rig (Isuzu Amigo based) with 325/85r16 Michelins XML. True 39" diameter, absolutely bulletproof. They work great off road, respond to airing down well enough, handle safe on tarmac at 60 mph. I highly recommend them for trail raiding like this shown. Greetings from Poland!

It seems like your tires either have too much pressure,or they are too stiff to shape themselves around the big rocks. You aren’t getting much of a contact patch in comparison to the size of your 43” tire. Maybe you’re concerned about a pinch flat? I don’t have experience with really big tires, but my 35” Patagonias shape themselves much better around rocks at 12 PSI.
