I love the whole olaplex line ! I religiously only use olaplex since 3, 4 and 5 came out like 2years ago and it changed my hair. I believe olaplex's patented formal is worth the cash.

Twenty years ago hairdressers were using a product exactly the same as Olaplex in the UK (which I never knew my hairdresser told me) which I found surprising. So this product has been around for decades. Olaplex is liquid gold. A game changer. I use all of them at home. I've never tried this No7 oil tho yet. We can buy Olaplex No3 here for £18 which is a bargain. I'm not sure why it's so cheap in the UK. I do love the shampoo and conditioner too. Olaplex dilutes bleach by a good 40-50% which is one of the reasons it works so well when bleaching. Add in it also protects your hair as the peroxide is oenetrating the hair, it's pretty amazing. None of my friends use Olaplex as they deem it as being far too expensive. Can't relate. Lol. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣😂 Its worth every single penny and more. Id quite happily work for the Olaplex company as I'm so passionate about this product it would be an ideal job for me. Especially as its chemical free and vegan. I mean, what more could you possibly want? 🤗❤️❤️🤗 I also use it in my glued in extensions. It really does make the extensions last so much longer too.

@@justanotherhuman8592 yep , i agree 100% ..in romania is 120 ron , thats like 28 usd .. the no 3 .. the no 7 bonding oil is 140 ron , so is more expensive then no 3.. i only tried no 3 and the no 7 oil i just bought it .. nr 3 has changed my hair and i can finally have blonde grey hair and also growing wich is a totally surprise !!!! i always struggled with hair growing and it never grew , it only broke the ends and got shorter .. but sicne i use olaplex my hair is awesome and growing even if i bleach it .. also i do once at 6 month a keratin straightening treatment from chocococo wich is amazing also :)..sorry if i wrote bad, english is not my native:D

It’s really not a “protective” layer that they are applying to the lightener. It’s a binding treatment that has molecules that prevent the molecules of your hair from being damaged or breaking on a molecular level. But it’s not a protective layer per say.

Ash, I’ve just looked that one up on our Sephora here in Australia 🇦🇺, Phew 😅 I really should of stocked up on more of the products when in Hawaii, it’s only just arrived here and the cost for the 100ml bottles is $50 AUD for each of them, lucky you don’t need much plus I can get away with only washing my hair about every 5 days, will just need to hide them from hubby as he washes his hair every night, But works away a Lot, So KZbin keeps me entertained Lol 😂 and shopping 🛍...xoxo

$50? It’s a little more expensive then here in Canada by $20 or so but you really don’t need a lot especially the shampoo and conditioner as well as the oil! It will go a long way for sure! KZbin and shopping sounds good to me 💁🏼‍♀️

Did you ever try Pure Jojoba Oil? my hairs bleached so I put it in dry hair once a week and leave for at least 8 hours then shampoo and condition as normal and my hair isn't weighed down and feels beautiful and is very shiny x

What would you say, are the main differences between no 6 & 7?

I would say that they both do very similar things with protecting and repairing the hair. One is an oil and the other is a styling cream. I like the No 6 as a leave in conditioner and heat protectant (on wet hair) while the oil smooths frizzy hair/ flyaways while adding shine and hydration.

I use No 6 all the time on damp hair since it's a leave in and once my hair is dry I use the oil. My hair never seems to be greasy but of course you apply too much of either product there is a chance of that..

Thank you so much 🥰 You can definitely use No 7 before heat styling but No 6 Bond Smoother will be a better option for a heat protectant as it's a leave in conditioner/smoother and protects all hair types. Hey there and thanks for subscribing🤗 Olaplex isn’t just meant for people who have coloured hair or that have bleached/blonde hair. You can most definitely use it if you have natural virgin hair. It’s mean’t for all hair types and it’s mean’t for use of thermal (heat styling tools) damaged hair, mechanical damaged hair and of course colour treated hair. If you are experiencing dry breakage hair I would definitely use it and see if it works for you🤗

I read leaving hair wet after a shower is bad for the hair cuticle and causes damage..is it better as a blonde to let hair air dry? Or should I blow dry it?

I have never heard that before but I can tell you that letting your hair "air" dry is better on your hair (from my experience) than using heat styling tools. I have experienced a lot of dry/damaged hair when I was going blonder and not using heat styling tools really improved my hair.

Yea something about the hair porosity.. chemically lightened hair holds onto moisture longer because it's porous, I've watched a few videos and read a few articles that said leaving hair wet for too long can actually damage the cortex of the hair more than just blow drying which mainly damaged the outer layer..I guess no matter what we do to the hair it's gonna be damaged to some extent..but yeah I was shook when I heard that because I don't wanna use heat but my hair takes forever to dry now that it's blonde. Anyways thanks for the video! Olaplex has definitely been helping my hair alot!
