remember the incident where that boi nagato stole that purse was out of town, meaning the evil doing wasn't necessarily in the town itself, so keel ain't really doing nothing bad about the town itself, remember bofurin rules only apply to if they're hurting thier own kind meaning thier town, they didn't mess around with toman at the other side of the town even though we know there was bs going on there, it's like different rule and laws with each country if you know what i mean.

by the way, about the teachers and classes, the mangaka said that they still go to class and most of the patrol and gang stuff happens during break time, weekends or after school (for example, patrol is usually before or after school). but this only started being reinforced by Umemiya in his second year, which is the year before canon events and Sakura's arrival at Furin. So before that, Furin has just been a mess of delinquents always fighting and I think teachers just don't want to deal with it so they let the students go wherever they want. Now, it's only been a year since the students are actually going to class properly, so I'm assuming most of the teachers who stayed at the school are still pretty loose with the attendance policy. Though I'm pretty sure the keel arc had them leaving the school when it's still school time (hence the 2nd years' confusion) so the first years are playing hookies here lol

my theory with the reason why there's no classes and such is because in episode 1 they talk about how this school was once for delinquents and that it had a really bad reputation. I was sorta thinking that maybe the teachers and principal and staff either left because of the reputation or were 'driven out' by the students taking over the school or smthng. now that the town needs these people to protect them, no one seems to see a need for actual teachers and stuff. alternatively, it could also just be a different universe or a different time but idk, these are just my thoughts.

there are teachers and classes, but most of the stuff is happening during break time or after school and also you're right it has a bad reputation. the author said the students only started going to classes seriously in Umemiya's second year since he reinforced it (so just 1 year before Sakura arrived in town) and I'm guessing the staff just doesn't want to get involved with all the fighting and the more competent ones probably already quit their job by the time the fighting ended a year ago, leaving staff who don't care about attendance in place...

In regards to classes and teachers. I think it's a case of different universe different rules. I think we're placing our own logic to a world that isn't an anime copy of our world. Their world is similar but not our world so the school system is different

Interesting perspective, my assumption was that the high school they're using as a base was rundown and they just say they're attending school. At the end of the day they're still technically a delinquent gang and delinquents...don't exactly go to school much. There do seem to be normal functioning schools like the middle school and whatever school Anzai's friend is going to. But then again I'm not 100% sure because I'm anime only and there could be something I'm missing.

thanks for the reactions! can't wait for S2! wish s1 was longer so we can at least finish the keel arc but eh, i guess they need some time to flesh out the production since there's gonna be another round of fighting lol yeah keel is definitely different from shishitoren... shishitoren had internal issues but weren't the type to commit crimes, meanwhile keel is straight up stealing from people... the keel guy shared the same VA as itadori yuji from jjk so it's interesting seeing itadori's VA play the bad guy while mahito's VA play the good guy lmao

I can't lie Tsubakino looks kinda bad (manga readers or people who know, I don't care). Season 2 is finna be straight hands🥊🥊 and is straight fire🔥🔥. Also the creepy guy is voiced by Yuji's VA, one of the rare times he has ever voiced a villain I think. I just know Cloverworks finna go crazy with the fights next season
