I watched this back when it first came out, loved it so much! Now I’m back watching it again. The colors are great and not an eyesore to look at, and the animation is so silky smooth, it’s so amazing. The voice acting is top tier too!! I also love the different character personalities. Stone obviously is the more serious one, while also being caring, looking out for his friends. He tends to not show his affection through words, but rather by action. He says what he needs to, but goes farther on his actions, really bringing it in depth. I love how he goes from not showing much care to Maggot, to treating Maggot like a silly goober. It’s so cute.

I love how the scraps don’t hold kids responsible for their parents actions. Like when they’re robbing that one lootbag and Skipp feels bad for her baby and stands up for the kid. Or when they’re at the baby pageant and Vinnie goes “man, these lootbags are intense” after some of them threaten or disown their kids. Like the trio has so much empathy and I love them so much!

I have a feeling that Vinnie and Skipp are both from an orphanage while stone is from what was previously a wealthy family, Vinnie seems to always have a hate for the rich while skipp has accepted it. I know I'm late to this but I wanted to say thank you for putting the alcohol and tobacco warning at the start, in high school everyone around me does those substances and because of their addictions I cant speak to them and I lost a friend (not dead just was rude) over an addiction to tobacco, not many people seem to take it seriously nowadays
