Not to piss on anyone's Cornflakes but... Let me just say that I, as well love this bass line even though it is not truly a bass being played. My loves, it is more likely a keyboard programed with lovely big fat, sweaty bass tones that make you move your ass, and makes your mouth water. Sorry, spoiler alert!

New Order! Very appropriate song for 2019-2020. Blue Monday! I so loved dancing to this one when it was played! Felt the beat, feet started tapping and ZOOM out on the dance floor I went! Oh the music after 2000 went totally insane! By the way the dance floor was mostly my kitchen floor, except when I ventured out to the socials when I was lucky enough to be able to go. Thank you to my children, for being so into music! I guess I taught them something, right. As I was taught by my father, who loved music so much! Listen to the beat, but more important read the lyrics, they tell a story! A GREAT STORY! Thanks for keeping it alive!

This song defined my generation. When I saw them in '89, the crowd went insane when N.O. seemed to be leaving w/out playing Blue Monday! They probably staged it, but the limo kept inching further away, & then stopping, then starting again. Total tease! But if they hadn't played it, we would have rioted. ♫
