I don't comment often on YT, and I've always kept my thoughts to myself about New Order. I am just so tired of all the "Barney bashers." Did you even watch this show or just come to complain about the fact that a Joy Division member killed himself and another took his ball and his grumpy ass and went home? Bernard and Stephen are so totally in their element in this performance. i which it went on for twice as long as it did.

As an American, I can say that many of the best bands have come out of Britain, (including Ireland). Because of our similar heritage, the US and the UK share much of each other's pop culture and music being one of them. We both brought, rock, along with rock & roll to the world. However, one thing that made the UK stand out in the 70s and 80s was their experimentation with electronic music. PSB, Depeche Mode, New Order, U2, Erasure, to name a few are brilliant and legendary!
@zy96624 жыл бұрын
Because electronic music has always been European driven. It was first linked with continental European "classical" music than with pop/rock. The UK was uniquely positioned to make the perfect blend of rock and electronics
