@callofdutyblackops9 9 жыл бұрын
They are, consoles and Pc's are the closest they have ever been spec wise. I'm a PC guy myself, but I look at just 2 years ago, look at the difference between PC gaming then and console gaming then, it was almost two different worlds, you have to look at how things are processed and what they use to build the consoles, but they are definitely getting better.

xXShadowXx 2 years back PCs we're in a era of 1080p 60FPS. Now we're slowly entering 4k. And console still can't get a stable 60FPS or 1080p. getting better? they call these new console "nextgen" whereas half of their games aren't even 1080p or 60FPS.

Indeed. I've never been without a 1000+ Watt PSU. Even when not running SLI/Crossfire I still make sure I have it. Now I'm running SLI 780's with 3 SSD's 3 HHD's, BR drive, 8 fans. And I'd be worried sick about running that on less than a 800watt Plat rated PSU. 1000watt just gives me peace of mind that I won't ever under volt.

Good idea going with the pre-built machines for something like this. You don't want to have to build and test 5 by yourself. Also you get that warranty so you don't have to troubleshoot and fix if you don't want to. Building your own is the way to go don't get me wrong but if you're doing more than 2 at once go pre-built.

@DannyAran117 9 жыл бұрын
stay10578 Well that money could have gone to a pretty good (used) car when you finally get your driver's licence, which I would have done if I was your age. Hopefully you didn't go balls to the wall and got parts for your PC that you didn't even need. For example, I spent about $1600 on my PC and I'm sure that this rig is going to last for years. But if I had $3000, I could have made a freakin' beast of a computer.

For non-content creator users, the 4670K is actually a much better deal. And in the Obsidian 350d case I would take the xtra savings and rad up to the H100i cooler (and pocket $50). It will run 10-12C cooler than the H80i in push pull, which means you can pretty much guarantee a 4.5+ Ghz OC, assuming you are willing to cross the 1.25v threshold. I have built similar, identical and variant systems in that case for friends and family and done extensive testing/tuning. So these are my observations.

Dude you need posters and stuff all over the walls and it'll be like a badass gaming center.You need posters of the latest games and maybe speakers around the place when you want surround sound to get the most suspenseful and epic gaming experience.Oh,one more thing,maybe you should design each play station.I mean like everyone has their own computer that they sit at every time they play and they'll customize their stations however they like.Just a thought.

These guys are top tier youtubers as far as professionalism. They produce extrememly well thought out and designed videos, and edit them with perfection (well not even hollywood is perfect but you get me). If I could game with these cats that would be super super cool. Also the tractor on the screen looks like it was made in a modeling program like inventor or something, then rendered to look realistic.

It's called being prepared for future upgrades. More Drives use more power, maybe they go SLI down the road..More power, want to add lights and case affects..More power. Plus, power supplies are not that expensive so getting a good 1000watt PSU will last them years.

Hey man, I used to be in a situation like you where I decided to to switch and did not know how to build my own. I was in your same position. The computer i bought was a custom one on IBuyPower . com. They're website is laid out in a simplistic way and from someone who bought from them, they're pretty reliable. Everything is listed so you can easily search the parts online and see what you would like. There are probably more websites like this but they were my first. You will probably learnalot!

Scaling up the in-game resolution to (for example) 1440p wont affect the quality you can actually see if your monitor is only capable of running 1080p, Think of it like a Pringles can that you cant turn upside down, making it deeper but with the same ratio of chips, doesn't mean you can actually get more out of it. That being said the step up from 1080p to 1440p is about the same viewing difference as 720p-> 1080p so its not really worth an extra $400.

1700 is quite a high price for a lot of people. i have a 850w psu, FX 8320 (OC 4.4GHz) and a GTX 550 ti, that GPU is kinda crap, i know. I am aiming for an R9 280X next. But what i mean is, With just a GTX770/7970/R9 280X you can run almost all games with over 60 fps on ultra settings. You don't need much more than that. Not now at least.

I don't think you realize the perform increase a GTX 780 has compared to an GTX 770 which could make a break to ability to record smooth game play. As for the CPU they may possibly do editing on this machine as well. For the PSU it offers room for expansion. Its not overkill.
