There are some things about "terrorists" that the media reports on that have never made sense to me. Why would an individual or group reveal their intentions to do harm through social media and/or manifestos? If I were planning a crime I certainly wouldn't tell anyone about it. Another thing that has perplexed me is the up-close videos of terrorist trainig camps. Why would a group release footage of their training to news outlets? What I found very confusing when watching a western media channel was the footage from behind the vehicle showing the flag, but then they showed footage from above probably via a drone, which did not show the flag?
