Great information. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your research. In my opinion, the part that brings negative feelings to New Orleans is the strong influence of Voodoo that has intertwined with the Catholic community.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I don't think everything is completely negative energy but a lot of death also has happened in new Orleans. It's got such a huge history between spirtual practices, wars, killers, plague, natural disasters. Definitely the city has a lot of trauma on it coupled with the spiritual energy

There is a book that tells exactly what happened to Delphine. Its fascinating. And apparently the slave girl who died in the back yard isn’t true either.
@fleureo_9 сағат бұрын
Ah interesting! Yeah I couldnt find much to corroborate the slave girl death and the accounts weren't matching each other and didnt make sense so I was kinda finding that ify as is!

Love this video. I actually live in the Vieux Carre. My "townhouse".is in the servants quarters behind the mainhouse, a historic property built in 1885. We are in the center a the block that houses The Pharmacy Museum, Creole Cookery, French Market Inn and Napoleon House. I always wondered if any of the ghost stories attached to those location were real, but at some point, I realized it didn't matter, because we are experiencing paranormal things regardless, lol. Kinda like.Sultans Palace. Story might not be true but experience is.

It sounds really lovely where you live! Yeah I do feel like NOLA is just brimming with paranormal energy! Even if some stories are not true, something else is still hanging out in the shadows!

Not covenant - convent - you interchanged the words more than once. Unusual stories, and not ones that I have heard over and over.

You started out pronouncing "Orleans" incorrectly. Think you might better start off your research by learning how to pronounce the city you're talking about.
@fleureo_Күн бұрын
It happens! Orleans has a few pronunciations. I'm not a local and I'm Canadian so I pronounce things differently just like how people from the US don't pronounce Toronto like we do. Also no one IRL can pronounce my real name, I try to not get hung up too much on it. We are all from different parts of the world :). Tragically Hip is Canadian and it's how we pronounce it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gnK9hqZ5hLOdf7M
