New Orleans inmates get surprise visits from family

High security inmates at the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office rarely get to see family members while incarcerated. The staff decided to give a few of the inmates with exemplary good behavior a chance to have a few minutes in-person with their families.

Countless men and women are arrested under false pretenses causing them to lose work and even their lives. While other states prosecute way too extremely for petty crime. The system has always been against everyone.

I'll never understand why this isn't done more, you put the parents in jail to punish them for a crime, fair, and yes they should have thought about their kids before committing those crimes, fair, but it still punishes the kids as well, and they didn't do anything so I just think there needs to be more in prison programs to be in the children's lives more frequently, let them rest knowing their parent still loves them and give them a chance to reconcile before years go by and they can't

Wow, there are still good police in this world. He is an amazing outstanding officer. God bless you. Not all of us are bad we just sometimes make wrong decisions or poor choices.
