This is not a bad team, they’re an extremely injured team in positions of little depth. This team when healthy is still the team of the 1st 2 weeks. It’s crazy how depleted this o-lime is. Even with that they were a couple of plays away from being right there. Carr through a perfect pass to shaheed down the sideline where he slowed down then tried to speed up and it went t off his right hand. Olave had the illegal motion that negated a 1st down and creating a 3rd & 12. This o-line can’t hold up on obvious pass situations. Tipton had Carr’s last pass go right through his hands. The Carr led offense only had 3 second 1/2 possessions. The Olave penalty ended the 1st, TD on the 2nd, and the Tipton drop was the 3rd. As you mentioned the more concerning part was the defenses inability to get off the field against a chiefs offense that has struggled for over a year now. Easy picking Adebo to help the opponents get in the red zone from penalties after penalties. They need to move his position over to something else where he can’t give up big plays on almost every 3rd and long play. People blame our Oline but how many other teams lose Oline and still be winning games? Klint play calling was good in KC because KC got a mobile Qb and that’s what he’s best at dialing up plays. Chiefs fan here. Losing against the Chiefs at Arrowhead is not a season defining moment. We have beat Super Bowl teams at home and made them look bad Just take the loss and move onto the next game, you’ll be fine
@jaythedrifter19 сағат бұрын
It’s not the loss, It’s how they loss. Saints never get blown out. The champ chiefs aren’t all that good to be honest, they’re mainly just a well ran organization with a great QB.

This isn't about the Chiefs. It's about the same issues Saints fans have been complaining about for years.

@@jaythedrifter actually,.... hard to argue with that. I was just saying losing to the Chiefs at Arrowhead isn't a rare thing but I hear ya on the other stuff, am I 49 yo chiefs fan that sat through the 80's and early 2010 Chiefs, we had the same shit. the Coach and the QB make ALL the difference in the word.

I still think they can make a run. They look like a team that has a beat up o line and a new offensive play book and scheme. They will get it be patient. I hear you Ross but lets have some faith!! And the defense was beat up as well. LETS GO SAINTS!! WHO DAT

I'm more concerned with the pass pro and run blocking from thus busted up line. We need to find someone soon. Adams could help this mediocre wide receiver group too
@jacobrodgers-xo4if16 сағат бұрын
KC has one of the best defenses in the league and the Saints beat up o-line might be the worst in the league right now. The offense did just fine given the circumstances. Not sure what more truly knowledgeable fans expected. The cause for concern however has got to be the defense. KC was missing multiple skill players and has actually been struggling on offense for over a year now. They’re not the dominate offensive team people think they are. KC just marched up and down the field all game and even when we cut it to a 3 point game late they let them go down and score. They’ve been a bend but don’t break defense all season but that style wears your own defense out while also allowing the opposing defense to get rest. It also allows teams to flip the field position as well as limit possessions on offense. Not to mention making it extremely boring and frustrating to watch.

Injuries aside, teams have figured them out. This all comes down to coaching, Derek Carr and an inability to be consistent.

Why is Mason Tipton even getting look like that on 4th down when you have a guy like Chris Olave? That’s what I don’t get, it’s literally common sense.

The team is severely fepleted by injuries. That has clearly imacted this teams ability to compete. Oline is terrible snd are not giving Carr a chance. The pass rush needs addressing becaise there isnt one. Run defence is also a problem.

The rookie? The one who was benched twice in college (once for Tanner Mordecai and then for Caleb Williams) because he turned the ball over too much when there was pressure? 🤔 We have a run heavy offense, and we're unable to run because our line is decimated with injuries. The pass rush is relentless as a result and our quarterback can't even set his back foot on most throws. Mahomes struggled in similar, but better conditions last year. Lost 4 out of 6 games and had a pick 6 and a fumble 6 within 5 seconds of each other. We need to not panic, get guys back from injury, teach Adebo to get his head around when the ball is close, and our receivers not to get illegal procedure calls at the line of scrimmage. Two weeks in a row Shaheed and Olave get a penalty you usually only see at the high school level. Shaheed running toward the line of scrimmage and Olave not getting set and just bouncing around. Last night, it happened at a critical point of the game and negated a crucial 1st down 🤦🏿♂️

Shaheed is NOT A STAR. He catches less than 50% of his targets. Olave is 3rd on the team in targets. This is the damn problem and we’re going to let Kubiack and Carr know it in the Dome Sunday.

This season Shaheed has caught 55% of his targets. For his career he has caught 65% of his targets For comparison, this season Olave has caught 78% of his targets. For his career he has caught 63% of his targets. Olave is tied for 2nd on the team with 28 targets, same number as Kamara.
