Bill and Lisa are ambassadors of wherever they visit. I'm positive the city of New Orleans is grateful to you for promoting their city. When cities and towns depend so much on visitors for their economy, a devastating event to that area can really hurt that city in addition to other negative occurrences. We saw that happen in Lahaina and Maui a few years ago, and they still haven't recovered fully. You are right, New Orleans is one resilient city. My niece, husband, and newborn live in Lahaina. They were in the thick of it! Every home on their block burned to the ground EXCEPT THEIRS! Either side of them as well. She's a Physician Assistant & was called back to work IMMEDIATELY from maternity leave. TRULY BLESSED. THE POWER OF PRAYER!! ❤❤❤❤

Omg, we flew in on Jan. 2nd for a two day stay and onto a cruise. We stayed at Caesars casino. Such a different atmosphere than what you showed. We saw the memorial they started, the aftermath. So so sad. I am so grateful you two are ok. Sending prayers to all who were affected.

I'm so glad Ya'll had another great time in New Orleans!!! I live approximately 13 miles up river in a suburb called River Ridge. The Gumbo Shop is still one of the most authentic and well priced restaurants in the French Quarter. Thank God you came out safe !!!!

I love New Orleans. Went to the Sugar Bowl when I was in college way long ago lol. We beat Georgia and after the game their fans disappeared so fast lol. I’ve been wanting to go back since then. I hope to make it some day but until then I’m living vicariously thru you guys. Bourbon st looks so different now. But I remember getting one of those hot dogs and a hurricane at Pat O’Briens.
