New Outlook VS Classic Outlook

Until we can save emails into folders and also open existing email files from folders, new outlook is not ready for prime time, at least not for us.

Thanks for the video. The new outlook looks horrendous. It's exactly the web version of outlook. The native windows version of outlook is not the best but better.

Classic is certainly nicer on the eyes at the moment, I hope Microsoft do give us more colour choices in future however everything seems to be just light and dark these days.

Thanks to the EU, we know that the new Outlook collects data about the user and transmits it to Microsoft. People in europe get a notification and the option to reject this snooping but others get nothing. I'm currently using Thunderbird.

I'm also not a big fan of this outlook version. The "send later" button is missing in my version. No possibility to create rules. Many other features missing. But at least, it's free. @Westway IT love to see your videos about new features in the app (as you can't call that a program -.- )

the new outlook is garbage. I've tried it and hate it. I don't want to give up mail. I love mail. simple easy. It might be ok for work, but it is not ok for personal email

@@westwayit To me 2010 was the start of the decline. Famously a lot of people I knew hated the "tweening" - basically the addition of superfluous animations that makes it feel sluggish. And for me it's that and how the UI got more invasive with things that pop up everywhere when you're selecting text things, trying to be helpful but in typical Microsoft fashion doing little more than getting in the way annoying me.

Look, I don't care about these so-called new features - they are not new, just repackaged to work with a web browser based interface. We lose so much with this software. All of the gain is with Microsoft. Once everyone has been forced to use it, then you'll all have pay, and pay more, and more, and more. You will lose functionality with other programs being able to send documents from within that program. What if I want to export my mail to a pst file so I can save it? Can I transfer my quick cache, or autostream email addresses? What about the right-click, send to, mail receipt? Gone as well. I didn't hear a single benefit from this. I do sense a future fucking to come though. Things are worse at Adobe though, and Google is close behind too.
