Unfortunately, damage was found done to a power line after the recent hurricane, so I've been without power and home internet for most of today which is delaying the guide + losing power on the night of the pack release. Fortunately was able to stream the Meta Weekly without issues though!

A fast effect generally *cannot* be activated during the Damage Step unless it (1) negates the activation/Summon or (2) directly changes a monster's ATK/DEF. A triggered effect generally *can* be activated during the Damage Step if its condition is met. Exceptions exist, but this is the general rule when a card does not say "even/except during the Damage Step".

1:08:22 I missed oppurtunity to summon the Link 2 Kimulfalcos since they returned SBTL in the GY they can norm wen and sp. Pengu and go combo from there. In that turn they could have had the opponent lock into collasus/protos which ever they prefer and Link 4 plus steeds

Zombieworld wrecks tenpai. -The synchros require dragons and the tenpais can only reborn dragons. So you can play field spells as a counter: 1) Zombie World 2) Lair of darkness (makes tenpai affected during main phase. 3) Clockwork night, disables tenpai synchros

Thinking about it why wtf did they not ban shifter last banlist. We are already in a floodgate heavy format and they release 2 shifter decks together with Tenpai that you need floodgates to beat. Konami doesn’t know what fun is if I hit them over the head with it.

Guessing it’s battle step shenanigans. If I understood what happened correctly, attack declaration happened then the game moved onto the damage step. You can’t change targets in the damage step so I’m guessing the attack went through even though the number of monsters on the field changed on the opponent’s side. It’s really weird because if you target a monster and it’s destroyed during the damage step, the attack fizzles out.

Did you know if a battle happen where the enemy has only spirit of yubel and you have tenpai dragon then you are just wasting time since yubel doesnt take battle damage neither be destroyed by battle and even if you manage to destroy it again and again , it would just reborn a new yubel over and over until it reaches the ultimate terror yubel if the enemy have it

Running 25+ Hand Traps including Shifter is why people hate this deck in the first place by the way. All you're doing with it at that point is playing HT Stun with a side of OTK at that point.
