For the Yubel ruling it had nothing to do with damage step, an attack declaration may ONLY redeclare if a monster leaves the field since the card that left was Nightmare Pain it does not trigger a redeclare so the phantom was FORCED to swing into 8k. Found this ruling out the hard way in a YCS

I would recommend grand magus cut harpies feather duster. I constantly see it being a dead card. Its never really that impactful especially in this format. Plus heroes have a lot of in engine outs to backrow. Play more consistency cards like ecall or thrust

Nah, HFD is very good at this meta. Yubel can't reflect damage without nightmare pain, R-ace panick attack, Fire kings? At least you blown their facedown card, You've seen stun and Lab player's on this tourney.

People can't claim to hate floodgates and also try to hype up Heroes at the same time. The deck's strategy is based around floodgates. Being a deck from the protag of one of the animes doesn't change the fact that the main strategy is a one-sided harder to out Macro Cosmos.

Gz to awab for winning but that was far from optimal mathmech gameplay and list, like why are you running both Masq + SP AND Singularity, those just don't go well together for 2 reasons: 1) They serve the same purpose and offer same amount of disruption with Singularity offering a good revive that can offer protection to terahertz 2) They have same weakness, both lines are vulnerable to spoly Why is then Singularity better and why is it stupid to run all 3 cards ? Well cuz you are gonna be in similar situation to one at 11:30 minus that druiswurm that created the issues, where easiest line is just jammer into accesscode and gg. Also you are sacrificing alternative line when you have basic board state Transcode+decoder+splash+xyz, this without sending dotscaper in this deck is just terahertz, when instead of masq+SP you could run jammer + heatsoul and you get Heatsoul + 1 on basic board. Sending dotscaper ain't an issue when u start with Circular but it is a huge issue if you started with defenser or some other way where you HAVE to send diameter or third mathmech and you are losing +1. So yea I really don't understand Masq + SP + Singularity at once, what makes sense is Masq + SP + Jammer (less optimal and only good if you are bad at disrupting the opponent and you need another continous spell or fieldspell removal besides agreggator and desave), and Singularity + jammer + heatsoul is best in my opinion besides when it is heavy spoly and nibiru meta where You always go to heatsoul for +2 cuz he cannot be spolied unless they got ignister in deck and instead of Singularity you run linkspider. And ofc there is goated Freedume's Mathmech which is just next level and a lot harder to pull off due to more complex combos.
