Anticipatory Grief is a clinical term used in the teaching of the psychology of death and dying Rev. Michael, I learned this term in the late 80s in my Psych of Death and Dying course so this is a spot-on term, not to be spiritually pathologized. I completely relate as I am in my mid-50s, lost my only sibling over 15 years ago, and have had many other losses, not all deaths, and both my folks though younger than this person's parents, and my folks do have life-threatening issues. I cycle in/out of grief while caregiving and being present, it's just how it ebbs and flows. There are a lot of triggers, and not all of the caregiving for folks you love is going to be easy, it's good to feel the feelings & release them versus being held captive by anything in the past that doesn't serve me. Life is just one death & rebirth after another, at times literal, physical at times symbolic but it is a repeat cycle of loss on my personal path for sure.

I agree with both of you, Ervin & Michael. It’s time to embrace a new, and to some a startling Paradigm: THERE IS ENOUGH. Lack of the will to share is the problem, not lack of the stuff to share.

When you try to explain to others what you “feel” or what the higher vibrations “levels are, the “English language” is stunted! As to say when you meditate and when ALL your chakras are activated and vibrate and circulate around themselves; you can actually “hear” the sounds. So when they are all in harmony… the inner glow shines out. This is no longer “woo woo”! When you vibrate higher you attract higher. And you can feel that shift!! Thank you for the guests you have on and Dr. Ervin for explaining this in “scientific terms!” 🙏🙏🙏

Separation is an illusion. It takes vision and courage to take back our minds in order to embrace and live in the oneness of life. We are all wrapped up in the oneness of life.

What an amazing interview. Ervin Laszlo said he was trying to live up to being a homo sapien. I can only imagine what level of consciousness he has already reached to make that statement. Powerful.

The life question is what I’m going through with my dad’s cancer diagnosis. He’s lost so much weight….anticipatory grief is is how I feel 😢

@vhowardrn read my response in the comments. Rev Michael just genuinely didn't know anticipatory grief is an actual thing, a term a process in the field of psychology. What you are feeling us normal, needed, and will help you in the long run. This is talked about in traditional grief studies. ❤❤❤ to you and your Dad.

Perhaps you really did ask for it...being a musician...before your incarnation? Music has obviously played an important part in your life...at the very least...your appreciation of it.
