Old style is easily the best. A match can't just have peaks of tension. you need dips too. We want to see conversations and positioning. we want to see the small stuff that leads up to shadder farming everyone :)

I was thinking the same thing, I agree with you but me personally I don't play Genji but I want to know how Shadder would react to his surroundings and his character placement in certain areas of the map

Genji Main I play genji alot probably my main, the other heroes I usually play are pharah, roadhog and some hanzo and Im gm so I dont think that watching really good people will help because eventually you are just going to copy their play style of course you can use some tips but if you really do wanna better at genji or any hero you'd have to make your own style

ShiFTy it's not about the way of fighting that he does it's about knowing when to back away from a fight ,when to ult, where to flank, when to push, position.....that all matters alot for a new genji main and someone who is really good with genji can also get something from his vids

Old style is definitely better. It's more fun to watch full games with dips in them so that tension can actually build. Ironically, keeping only the "exciting" parts is more boring.

I like seeing the entire match just so I can try and take notes of everything he did and try to implement as much of it as I can into my genji. If you were to ask the average person they would probably prefer the new style though.

So I think this new style is more enjoyable, which I'm sure is what you're going for as an editor, but I also watch Shadder because he's better than me (obviously) and I want to learn from him. So I like seeing the entire game to see how he handles uncomfortable situations, not just watching him kill everything at certain times in the match.

I think it's that the Dragonblade's range is like 50% higher when you aim for the head

Slash has a very large hitbox. Basically anything within your screen area is hit by it. If you rotate your mouse to a certain degree, you can expand that hitbox. For example, if 180 degrees is the slash angle, you can extend it up to 240 degrees. Don't know the exact value, but it's just my estimated one.

i prefer the old style. i'm a 300 hr mercy main about to hit 40 hours maining genji, and i'm getting his golden gun soon too. i'm still learning and this channel has been my biggest source of learning. plus, i love shadder. i do watch other genji channels but i love this guy lots :p

This editing should be rethought. There are huge portions of the game missing. At 5:58, for instance, there is a jumpcut where somehow Shadder goes from 8% ult charge to 100% ult charge, with no in-between. This isn't the only occurrence either.

I think I'm a pretty good Genji however I sometimes lose the enemy when I'm ulting. I'll slash them and then spin the wrong way or something. Any tips? (I'm a diamond so I'm not anything special) Also this editing style is much better! Love seeing multiple games.

Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth Ok so appearantly if you slash above the head the blade hit box increases. Also slashes and melees linger, so if you turn with a slash to a certain degree the slash lingers and you can increase the range even more.
