New Pen Day: Pelikan M200 Golden Beryl | New Transcription Project

That’s a bummer this M200 didn’t write well out of the gates. TBH, I’ve been kicking the can down the road on getting a more expensive German pen than my Lamy Safaris, because I’m pretty much a Japanese pen weeb. I’m just too spoiled by their finer nibs, their in-house nibs, consistent quality and competitive pricing. I almost committed to buying a fine Lamy 2000, but I still like the way my Pilot Capless Special Alloy writes more. I am interested in getting a preowned Pelikan M800/805, but knowing me, I’ll probably end up getting a Pilot Metal Elabo or Custom 823 instead. Like I said, pen weeb. 🤷‍♂️ 🇯🇵 ✒️
