NEW PEN DAY: Pilot Falcon - Black/Rhodium (SM)

NEW PEN DAY! I ordered this Pilot Falcon from Goldspot Pens (www.goldspotpen...) plus a couple bottles of ink. I saw a notice that the prices were going up September 1, so I went ahead and ordered it. I've been thinking about it for a while, but the actual timing of the purchase was an impulse buy. lol. I'm having fun with it though!

I absolutely love it! I keep meaning to do a recap or a revisit of this pen, but haven’t been able to make it a priority yet! Every ink I’ve ever tried in it is lovely, and I write the converter dry within the same day!

The colors came out after I got mine but I liked the black best if the colors currently available anyway. It was an easy choice for me hehe. It’s an excellent pen!

hey sorry for the spam, mine just arrived and it's my fav pen ever now :D it's the brown metal (I'd love the blue but it was second hand!) but I'm too scared t flex the nib. but it's so bouncy and smooth :) so scared of overflexing it!

@@inksplat btw have you been flexing this pen a lot over the past 2 years? Everyone is telling me to not flex this nib and it's just meant for bounce and softness and not like variation. But everyone on KZbin just flexes their nibs

@@roxiesossa3210 yeah I love it! I tried pushing it a little in the writing sample but I don’t usually write with it like that. I just write with it normally and it’s fun and bouncy, and I like putting a known shading ink in it because you get all kinds of shading out of it. I hope you love it when you get it, whether it’s now or later 🤣😍

@@inksplat Yeah I'm not too concerned with flexing. I think the biggest 'con' from what I've gathered is that it holds so little ink. Coming from a Custom 823 which holds loads & loads of ink or even a Custom 74, that would be my biggest concern. BUT my other half said: "Well, you'll have a chance to use more of the million inks you have!" Yep-tiny dig...😂 But he's right. LOL!
