Love that Tortoise 18k but what stopped me from getting that before are the reviews of it getting cracked easily cz of the material. Great informative video & love the ink colors!

Yes the celluloid material seems to have many drawbacks with it being flammable as the most dangerous 😳 it also shrinks over time which could contribute to cracking. Why pen enthusiasts including myself continue to buy? 🤷🏻♀️ Cause it’s pretty 😆

This is fascinating! I'm so excited for you! Those are my two favorite patterns for the 3776. The nib must be so beautiful! Enjoy!

Great video and beautiful addition to your collection! As a recent 18K convert (because of you, of course), I've been keeping an eye out for other vintage 3776 Platinums, and you're 100% right. They really are terribly hard to track down. It was clearly a sign when I was able to find the one so quickly. Since then, they're either so expensive or simply non-existent for me. 😅

They have definitely become a unicorn pen 😆

I’m so glad you got real pens! I’d be so gutted. I think a Platinum 3776 pen is also my dream pen I just haven’t bit the bullet yet. You’re like me, I bought a sailor pro gear on Amazon but I’m having stoppage issues with it, tried to rinse it and fiddle with the nib but it still has the same issues. :/

Gorgeous pens. I have an idea for one of your channels...my husband needs a Christmas wish list ideas Maybe something you could do. I bought a few things off your Amazon account that I love. Thank you for all you do for us ❤

Great idea! I really should start thinking about my 2024 favorites!

Congratulations with two gorgeous pens 😊. What finds! I’ve read online that these 3776 celluloid pens dry out quickly (no slip and seal). What is your experience?

I write with mine fairly regularly so I haven’t experienced any drying out. My finer nib will occasionally have a hard start but after a second downstroke it’s writing freely!

Hi there!!! Just started following you. I want to get into fountain pens so bad but I really can’t afford the really good ones. Which pen do you think is the best starter pen that is very affordable?

TWSBIs! I absolutely love them and went back to buying them after collecting the more expensive ones
