Hello there, I just ordered this from Harrods and received my 50 ml bottle. When I shined a light through it I noticed it was only half full, I tried comparing to others of similar amounts, but the differing shapes makes it hard to compare. I inquired with Harrod's customer service but I want to be sure that I'm not making an ass of myself for not knowing that this is customary or something. So Im browsing through ULTA and was smelling the mens frags for the heck of it and stumbled across PACO ROBANNE 1 MILLION ELIXER.....I have been wearing it ever since. although its marketed for men I can stop smelling it on myself. Thank you!! I wore it on my neck over moisturized skin and got some on the collar of my shirt and could still smell it a little the next morning! But that's also with it applied close to my nose 😝 So I would say with a normal wearing experience, it has moderate performance. With moisturizing, over spraying, and getting my clothes, people can definitely smell me though!

Anne I LOVE your channel. Can you compare G Water and Tocca Colette to Eau Duelle EDT? I have Eau Duelle and LOVE the Juniper Vanilla combo - wondering how similar it might be to the other two? Thanks :)

Thank you!! They give off a similar vibe in terms of the occasion and mood, but Eau Duelle has more of an edgy, cool character in comparison. It's much more aromatic and green, you get more of that outdoorsy vibe for sure. Where G Water has an even balance between the sandalwood, vanilla, citrus, and juniper. G Water is more crowd pleasing, smells softer, and comes off a little creamy and powdery. Colette is 95% similar to G Water but is a little more citrusy and fresh, a little less vanilla. Hope that helps! ❤️

Hi Anne. Have you tried any of the Miller Harris fragrances? Everyone talks about Scherzo (which is a 'like' for me but not a 'love') but their other fragrances are sooooo underrated. Powdered Veil is a woody/spicy/vanilla with a hint of rhubarb, Rose Silence is a dreamy, romantic rose (a la Bridgerton) and Leather Rouge is a unisex raspberry, rose and leather. Would love to hear your thoughts as we have similar taste.

Have you ever given anything from the Boy Smells perfume range a try? I think you would really like their Woodphoria fragrance! It's unisex but has a really nice, light sweetness. I just bought the travel size and I love it! I also have Flor de la Virgen and I don't think I've ever worn it without receiving a compliment. Lastly, their Cowboy Kush is an incredible candle, but I've yet to try it as a perfume.

Demi put me on to SHL. I hadn't heard of SHL before, even though they did have several 2013-14 releases that had garnered some attention. Liked God of Fire enough to get a bottle, definitely don't think it's the most unique, given Gaya, but value was basically the same, tad better on SHL even with a good offer from an official stockist. Not really getting the impression that anything from SHL is unique. It's not like picking up an Amouage or a Nishane that typically smells unique. That comment isn't just for God of Fire, but also to Sand Dance, Venom Incarnat, O'Hira, Isra & Miraj etc.

I found the 7 virtues Santal vanille too much so I just gave it to my mother who promptly put it on and said no word of a lie I love the sandalwood. Liis Bo on the other hand is so freaking beautiful I don't know what to do when I wear it like damn its good. Great list! Queens and Monsters is my 2nd favorite from Henry Rose after Dark is Night...But, I prefer darker fragrances. Also, that Whipped Berry Meringue is no joke! Lol...Bath and Body Works makes a foaming hand soap called Pistachio Cream Puff - that made me like murderous angry because it was the best thing I'd ever smelled! I bought 6 things of the soap - because that was THE ONLY product they had in that scent!!! I want it in a Lotion, Body Butter, Fragrance Mist - everything! Lol...But, I had to settle for Whipped Berry Meringue...LOL!
