I love it. I already added my 2 cents on Fragrantica. I think it’s a lovely fragrance. It’s not just another vanilla or a total gourmand. It’s a soft jasmine Rice and creamy buttermilk with an overarching Spicy Cinnamon vanilla with a lactonic sandalwood chaser. that’s what makes it different. People who think the rice note will be weird and the buttermilk will be sour, should be pleasantly surprised. It’s “soft”, more than a skin scent, but not a total beast. It smells like something I should pour in the spiked eggnog or add to a caramel latte to make it even better.

Oh it’s good! I’ve been wearing daily. So nice and balanced. It’s fairly light now but it should get stronger with time oxidizing.

Hi Anna, thank you for your insights. I love Estrella de la mañana! I truly enjoy the drydown. It pulls more vanilla on me than leather. I have settled on Jardin de Misfah extrait for one of the two roses I will keep in my collection. For a minute when I saw you uploaded I thought it was your collection update :). Take care Anne.

Estrella de la Manana has to be one of the VERY best new releases of 2024. I can't even say in words how much I love this! I don't think it's leathery or too strong, or too masculine. It's perfectly unisex. Sooo mysterious and evolving over more than a day. I didn't want to shower the next day because the dry down was so fabulous!

Love these honest recommendations and I’m also of the opinion if I’m going to splurge more than $100 on a perfume, there has to be some interesting factor there. Real ones know Marlena Stell is an absolute icon. Everything she does is wonderful Im so happy she's in the fragrance world now. Is Poka reminiscent of the Cirque du Soleil fragrance???? Because I lovedddddd that one and i'm interested to see what Poka has to offer.

Cirque du Soleil is much sweeter, has more vanilla with the pronounced cotton candy, and has an airy and powdery texture that Poka doesn’t have. Poka has warm spices and really plays up that smell of pie ❤️
