1.2L, 136PS, nearly 10s to 100? For the (nice) sporty look really disappointing. Sheep in Wolfs Clothing.

It doesn’t feel that slow honestly. The cars quite light and the engine makes a great noise so it’s quite enjoyable working it to make progress.

@@markbiggart1265 relatable - I drove a Toyota GR86, which also "only" has 240hp and a EV6 GT with it's 600hp some days later. The GR86 was more fun to me. But still comparing the GR86 to the 308GT, the "GT" label is not deserved IMHO.

@@markbiggart1265 I think it's a relatively weak offering compared to the 1.5 TSI you find in VAG cars, it's what turned me off the 308: the only engine options above this were PHEVs.

@@alles_klar I’d rather have the 100 HP 1.0T triple in the VAG range than the 1.5. I much prefer a 3 cyl to a 4 personally, so much more character even if a bit slower.

@@markbiggart1265 Having driven both in the current gen A3 (own the 1.5T) the 1.0T is enough to putter around town but I found it really *gutless* above 100kph.
