Nice video. The exposure triangle is something I bang on about all the time if I get asked. A constant aperture prime is also nice to have, IMO. Once the exposure triangle is mastered, for light in, controlling near and far focus areas to taste will be a want and a prime lens, such as you showed, will keep things intuitive versus a zoom (and especially variable aperture kit zooms may feel a bit out of control when learning). And you should have a nifty fifty-type lens anyway, IMNSHO😀

Hopefully, the G9 Mk II is showing you how good micro Four-Thirds is. I'd been photographing with micro Four-Thirds consistently since 2014. I recently got a Panasonic S5 Mk II. When I was selling cameras in the 1970s, there was barely auto exposure, so it was essential not to waste 20 or 36 exposures. Good luck with your tutorials!

@@SakaphotoGraphics I’m loving the G9mkii.. in fact I’m considering going all MFT and selling off my Canon gear since I am no longer doing weddings and everything now is mostly video.. I just have so much Canon gear! But, yes it’s a fantastic camera!! Thanks for watching!!

@@danielmartinphotography Between Four-Thirds and micro Four-Thirds, I'd seen a lot of Canon users switch to lighter equipment, just for the sake of diminishing the back ache. I used to carry one backpack with 3-4 micro Four-Thirds bodies, six lenses, and a laptop computer. Not too heavy.
