I remember spring 1978 as a tubby 18 yo working at NWT Air loading planes in Yellowknife…Buffalo wasn’t around back then….but Joe probably was. Bit of a tough environment for a soft kid from Vancouver but enjoyed every minute of it….especially rolling those 45 gallon drums of jet fuel up the the aisle of the DC3, then standing them up one man style…..one quick lift, then wait for the fluid motion….and go for the stand up. I’ll never forget that.

When I was a teenager and worked at a supermarket back home in Illinois, I had a manager that was anasshole like Joe. One day the pallet racks collapsed in the back room and buried him in cases of groceries. What goes around comes around.

In Rhodesia in the late 1970’s our skydiving club chartered an Air Rhodesia DC-3 for skydiving operations over a weekend. One of the pilots told us that this particular aircraft had dropped soldiers over Arnhem as part of operation ‘Market Garden.’ I don’t know what has become of this aircraft unfortunately.

There’s a group out of Norman Oklahoma that’s been doing static line jumps in an old C 47 for years. I’m surprised they didn’t try to give them a call. They have been able to get even get some parts out of them.

Apparently having to lose weight to go up in the CF-18 didn't stick with Mikey. If he wanted to eat whatever he wants and be that friggin' big he should have taken up powerlifting and keep lifting serious weights. At least then he'd have some usable muscle.

worked for an owner like joe in the past,thought he could intimidate people by his attitude and prescence! one day i was working a machine and there was a bang on it from a part breaking,he come running over and right into my face screaming at me that i wasnt working the machine right,took a step back and open the conveyer hatch and showed him it was a minor part,we knew it was about to go,it was a 10 minute repair and no big deal! The crowd that gatherd melted away and the owner was kind of well just watch in future! soon as the last people went i called the owner over and told him the next time he runs at me like that or shouts at me lke im some sort of teen idiot id punch his ticket,then report him to the tax office for every dodge he was up to with order! like any other bully he backed right off

Joe is no longer in charge of the company. I'm not sure they even exist today. Joe had to step down after getting into trouble by overloading his planes as he never said, "No" to customers and would add extra things on the plane which in turn made the plane overweight. I believe Canada Transport also had an issue with how Joe transported fuel. It wasn't being carried like it was supposed to be via regulations. Joe having to stepdown took place in 2015.

No its not a standard thing at all for most normal airlines, this is a really unique company that makes pilots do ramp work before they fly. With almost all other airlines if you get hired as a pilot that's all you do.

Why is Prefkar, the Indian trainee pilot made out to look like he’s never flown a plane before. Surely, he is already a pilot. Many references are made to him ‘wanting to be a pilot’, or he’s only flown a flight simm, and he’s come to the north to learn to fly. There is no reference to his past training or qualifications. We do have flight training in India too. It has the most female pilots in the world too. Is he a pilot already or not.

They have to have a certain amount of hours, yearly. I don’t know if he is but I’m assuming that he is. The only reference to anything of past is that he was no longer an engineer.

He was the fool that let medical supply freeze and seriously wondered how they could frees in -30 as the boy said it wouldn’t be likely to freeze, also he WASN’T a pilot before, he was an engineer who had always wanted to do it, but making mistakes that destroy medicine is something that only someone who wasn’t paying attention to

I don’t know why, but they want us believe that he’s never flown before. Learning to land, even a cessna trainer takes ages, but he absolutely nailed that landing without even a CFI next to him.. NO ONE with zero hours can do that. It takes several hours to butter a landing. As for the medicine, freezing, that was planned drama for the documentary. The filming crew had spotted it and zoomed in, they would have definitely told him. He was supposedly suspended but he could still drive a company van about?? Fake.

Would you not EXPLAIN to your pilot the sensitivity of the materials that he is to be transporting? Anyone with a private pilot would know that. His treatment of that young man was deplorable. Meanwhile, "Mikey" is struggling to overcome his morbid obesity and firgure out how to configure the "DC-3" so that he can be able to safely jump out of an airplane. Only in America.
