Problem with live golf on TV, too many ads, so you loose interest. I sometimes record and watch ad free, so effectively like one of your pre recordings, I watch when I am ready. The tours have the same challenge as ordinary broadcast media, streaming is how Joe Bloggs consumes TV now. So LIV when it was on KZbin worked, you and the other KZbin golf broadcasters will probably achieve similar figures to the like of Sky and the Golf Channel. So PGA, DP World tour watch out.

Hi, stay with me, with this one…….! My wife developed Alzheimer’s about 8 years ago now and as things progressed I was unable to give my wife the care that she needed. So she eventually had to go into a nursing home. I was devastated, feeling low and didn’t know what to do with my life or even the spare time. Thanks to my son Sean, he convinced me to take up golf as he was wanting to take up the sport but knew his mates wouldn’t even consider it. And after almost 40 years since I played last, we are now the best father and son team ever. We are not the best golfers in the world but we really do love playing. I've become a bit of a golf viewing snob lately 😂 I tend not to watch the 'regular' PGA or DPWT events anymore as I rarely know any of the players in the top 10; unless it's FedEx or Rolex related, then I'll watch for the elite players. I actually prefer watching the bigger LPGA/LET events nowadays! Seems to be a more competitive field 👍

Of course there is too much golf on TV and the internet. No way one can consume all the content that is available. Won't watch LIV, EVER! Don't watch much this time of the year with the baseball playoffs and college and professional football in the US. My favorite time to watch is in the winter, when I am sick of the snow in Michigan and the green grass and warm weather draw me in, dreaming of when I can get out and finally play golf again. And you are correct in that one reason people consume your content is they can watch it whenever they have time. I watch your podcast on KZbin every Tuesday at lunch while I eat and finish paperwork. Will do the same on Friday when a break 75 comes out. You, Matt Fryer and Good Good are my main go to's regarding KZbin golf. Keep up the good work you are entertaining a whole lot of us.

Although I haven’t really invested interested in the LET tour yet, I most definitely have invested time in the LPGA. Often more than any of the mens tours in a particular week. The very frustrating thing is how little coverage it gets in comparison regardless of value of the men’s event at the time. If any reading this hasn’t yet got into watching the LPGA tour yet, I recommend u do and learn about some of the players and enjoy some great golf.

I play at a club with 27 holes and multiple rotations, and also occasionally play at a 9-hole club. Usually it’s understood that the group making the turn has priority over the group that’s just starting their first hole. Not sure if that’s a rule, a tradition or just an old wives tale.

If you play a 9 hole course you can usually see the last green and judge who is next off- if there’s a queue it’s alternate tee offs

I may be naive but am very surprised to see Taylormade already putting out a new driver. I think they are depreciating their drivers too quickly. I like that Ping only comes out with one every other year. Callaway comes out with new ones too but they have multiple lines. Such as the Rogue this year and the Epic and Mavrik last year. Interesting dialogue on putters. I agree with Rick's comment on grips. I know very quickly whether a putter would work for me or not based on the grip.

LOL…Your description of putting your glove in your back pocket is classic! IMO, I like to take my glove off to chip and putt for feel, and to let my glove dry out a bit and my hand to “de-sweat.”

When it comes to being a brand snob, I guess I'm one of the minority and will play what I think feels and looks good to me. Though I am in a club replacement moment due to some puke that decided broke into my truck and stole my bag (at the golf course) , I was playing a couple name brands but the ones that were not was the Kirkland wedge set and love them, way better then the PXG's I changed from. For over a year I played the STIX 5 wood and it was a go to club for me when things felt wrong with my swing. Sometimes the DTC clubs can be just as good as name brand.

I think the shows with guests (former/current pro players, caddies, sports news, etc) are the best. I'd love to get insights into how a company does R&D or why they pick certain marketing strategies. I'd love to hear how a ball company without its own plant can differentiate its product from everyone else who orders from a generic manufacturing plant. I'd love to understand different balls have different number, shape and size of dimples or dimple in dimples. Why doesn't a club company backwards engineer everyone else's stuff (Callaway's jailbreak, Taylormade's twist face, Cobra's milled face, Ping's MOI, etc) and combine it all into one club? Definitely bring on company guests.

I definitely feel there is massive golf snobbery and as a very high handicapper and someone who doesn’t spend a lot on golf equipment but does enjoy the sport I’m very surprised it’s taken this long to review or even hear of the hex soft golf ball,ive been using them a while mainly due to price but also because they are so soft and I love a soft feel golf ball,it also sounded like Guy almost mentioned Inesis irons which I also have and we’re bought from decathlon,great irons for a beginner golfer and hopefully one of the future golf videos is reviewing those

I did play a course where you had to book both the front and back nine. And if you played slow, or were held up by a slow group in front of you, and were late making the turn you could miss your back 9 tee time and have to wait for an opening. New players starting the back 9 got preference. I hated it.

9 Hole Course wise if you are turning up to tee off and there's a group putting on the green of the 9th hole you must ask them if they are going through to the 10th, if they are you want for them to tee off and go in behind them.

Love to hear what you think of Australian golf courses. What’s the best over hear in your opinion? Any plans to travel and if so is Australia a chance? You’ve got the Melbourne Sandbelt courses and Barnbougle in Tasmania, King Island as well. Would be good trip of a lifetime and I’d love to see you play them

The problem isn’t too much golf. Problem is it’s a complete mess as a viewer/fan!!!! You can watch football (soccer) 24x7. The difference is the structure is more organised & easier to compartmentalise as a viewer/fan. We know the top players & highest quality is English Premier League, Champions League, then World Cup & Euro Cup. So we can organise our schedules around this & if we also want to watch our local smaller teams then can do that also or La Liga etc. But it’s easy. Golf is very unstructured at the moment partly due to condensing the Majors into a shorter period. But also, there doesn’t seem any logic of who is playing where & when. Add LIV to the mix & the sport has shot itself in the foot from a viewer/fan perspective. Bottom line is, it’s quite simple, fans want the top players competing against each other in an easily understandable format (be that a league table, rankings, etc). With The Opens (think FA Cup) adding an element of unknown underdog. We want the Majors scheduled evenly across the year. We want a season finale that is easily defined. We have the FedEx finale & the DP finale but it’s confusing & messy. We want the Premier ‘league’ (currently the main PGA events) every few weeks like the F1 or Champions League. & we want a defined end to the season!! Ask 100 fans when does the golf season end & you’ll get 100 different answers.

Dear Rick and Guy, the same can be said for football, because there’s Premier League, Scottish PL, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga, so there’s plenty of content in terms of football matches to watch. Now that there is the broadcasting of these other golf tours, I think it’s great for golf fans who want to watch and learn more about the game, the different players, the venues, rather than it being dominated as it used to be by the PGA. I’d say that as golf fans, we’re now spoilt for choice and about time too.

I rarely watch the tour coverage these days, I don't actually find it that exciting or relateable to the golf I play. I do watch KZbin golf a lot, as Rick says, you can do it when and where ( toilet ), you want and it actually entertains and educates, as I can decide what I want to watch, depending on my needs.

Great show as always. Not necessarily a weird place to watch RS videos but I always watch the Break75 episodes during my weekend workouts. I used to work out for an hour but had to shorten to 40-50 minutes to align with your videos. Bummer? Also, I'm a dentist, and while I'm all for playing RS content in the operatory, the paediatric patients might be mad when I switch off Spongebob.
