been heard everyone say that Legends of Runeterra was better than Hearthstone, saw this so i was like hmm "maybe i should try LoR" But you cant get big numbers on the screen like Hearthstone, youve got a max of 6 cards on the board and the most scaled boards ive seen are like 14hp and 10attack. Where are the 1000+/1000+ builds. Doesnt feel as fun

I mean I’ve seen cards get to crazy numbers in LoR but only in troll builds, but there’s no reliable way to high numbers. It’s mainly because in hearthstone all the cards just attack each other and whatever cards are left do damage, but in LoR it’s each card vs another card or the nexus, so there’s no point having massive numbers because there’s not as much attacking and getting attacked. However there is a lot of fun high impact cards with crazy game winning effects or alternate wincons, but if you wanna see just big numbers then yeah I guess you won’t find that.

From someone who plays lots of ccgs (card games), legends of runeterra is built more for people who understand the genre so its not better or worse than hs but i wouldnt recommend it as your starting point. Personally if you want to do a digital card game. Id recommend hearthstone or pokemon. But they arent playing a card game they are playing an auto battler more like tft (within the hearthstone client you can play bg). I do pre hearthstones battlegrounds version to tft but that will come down to personal choice.
