So in life; My element has always been snow and ice, (i was born/raised in Germany, a soldiers son so I always felt at home in mountains especially in Winter) I Chose halone mostly out of her association to Ishgard after going thru HW. I actually find it Auspicious how, after hearing/seeing this the inclusion of Menphina, and the nature of their Heaven, attune closely with my actual personal Ideals

From what I understand (I wasn't playing at the time) way back in 1.0 there was some minor interaction with the deity you picked. Not that you met them or anything but that some personal dialogue and items referenced it. Even then, though, there were no real major ramifications for choosing one patron deity over another.

It makes sense to not make it matter too much. Though, I believe the deity symbols on the rocks were part of a quest line pack in 1.0. But I am not 100% sure on that one.

@@flyfreemeru I have been wondering for a while if the 12 are indeed ascians. But I am not sure. I am though pretty sure the Whorl mentioend is actually Hydealyn. But then, there is the question. Where did Oschon come from? He is the only one we don't have a confirmed origin of. He kinda reminds me of the concept of Azem though.
