FYI: in the Myriad Celestial trailers only (for some reason), they add extra context into the subtitles. In Kafka’s, they label the items that she’s stolen as Stellarons. Ryan Mei’s shows the filtered out word that she wants to become is definitely “Aeon”. Sparkle’s shows how many performances she’s done up until that point for each time she says "It's you, my beloved mask". I think they include some definitions into the Xianzhou trailers as well, since their culture has different terms for lots of things (“Reign-bow Arbitor” instead of “Lan The Hunt”, for example). Don’t quote me tho.

Hii just wanted to clear this up in game paths ≠ lore path for example trailblazer in game has many paths like destruction but his in lore path is the trailblaze (hence the name) another example is sparkle in game: harmony but in lore: elation and another one is argenti in game: erudition in lore: beauty

I forgot there's so much text in fables about the stars, there's a bunch of sentences for some of the Aeons, but they also put hidden messages into the subtitles kinda

The best explanation for the IPC I've run into was available from the game's start: Herta has drafts of a yet unpublished book scattered on her station, and there's a chapter detailing how the IPC came about which is pretty unbiased and excellently lays out the reasons why they're the way they are. I think the readable you'd be looking for is in on the triangular map where Asta prefers to reside. (She has a similar chapter on the Genius Society which despite its clear biases does the same, and might also explain something about what makes an Emanator.) They're probably more analogous to Wal-Mart: the people at the top are generally sincere in their convictions, regard wealth as a means to an end rather than something to cherish in itself, and while never quite your friends it takes some deliberate effort to make them enemies. However, the IPC is huge, its shadow encompasses many worlds that don't share in those convictions, the needs of economies of scale are rarely gentle to those caught in the gigantic gears of the machine, and the simple fact there is no room for corruption at the top means anybody with more ambition than competence will gravitate to the lowest rungs of management and stay there with the newfound desire to ensure nobody signing up will ever climb past them. Oh, it looks like every single charge the Jepella Brotherhood had against Kafka was legitimate; it's just that several of the Stellaron Hunters' acts happened to directly benefit various sub-factions of the Annihilation Gang. In fact, the Jepella Rebellion itself helped Ever-Flame Mansion. The thing about prescience is that it shows you points where the level of force you have available can generate maximum leverage, not give you more muscle. This means the visible and successful operations of the Hunters (we don't know how often they fail, just that Elio's scripts have included instructions to the effect of "If you don't see X, Y, or Z at this point, cut and run while there's still time for a clean exit") tend to be taking advantage of others' quarrels. It isn't that rare for a Pathstrider to be drawing power from more than one Path. (If you matter enough that one Aeon is capable of briefly noticing you, it wouldn't be strange if others could.) It's just rarely easy to detect. And Aeons aren't necessarily gods. They get nothing from worship and needn't interact with or even notice their followers. As a consequence, you cannot guarantee that any faction following a Path has much in common with the perspective of the Aeon that opened the Path. While we have some clues as to what most of the Antimatter Legion and the Annihilation Gang profess to believe (it is very hard not to contrast the two as the difference between a disciplined, gas mask-clad army of ____ stormtroopers and a loose biker gang of Neo-____s), we have no proof at all they got any of this from Nanook. The Trailblazer being able to channel Destruction doesn't tell us much; their basic path really seems to be Akivili's.

52:10 if you had subtitles on, it tells you they are not actually "oni" as in the way you're probably thinking. It specifically puts "oni (end)", meaning humanities end.

As a newer Huge Honkai fan, we can get you into the hole with us. Join us. The hole is deep, painful, and ever expanding. But its also fascinating, full of hope, and full of meaningful connections. I, personally, was shocked at just how much development is in Honkai itself, and how fleshed out and deep things go. And while so much seems muddy and loose at first, the further you go, you realize how much thought and planning went into crafting these worlds and the Honkaiverse as a whole.

It’s so fleshed out in regards to Aeons, paths, and power system. That when they mention that they’re are planets that practice worship of gods outside the Aron belief system, I was confused and surprised as of course religion would still form despite the fact there is clear evidence of god like beings in the universe.

4:56 You forget, part of THEM has already been inside you 👀 ... lol 21:49 B/c it is! It's also a corporate recruiting video. The meme about the IPC being "space IRS" has gotten out of hand; they're more like the Dutch East India Company, mixed with Amazon, a venture capital firm, and also a mega-church. Topaz, Aventurine, and Jade are debt-collectors and repossessors, not "tax-collectors" (a phrase that most people have probably only heard from the bible lol). Diamond is the code-name of the leader of that dept. (the Strategic Investment Dept.), as well as a group called “The Ten Stonehearts”, who all use gems as codenames. 37:56 The Annihilation Gang follow The Destruction, but there are different gang within them as well (sub-faction of a sub-faction). Kafka's involved "The Japella Brotherhood", where 'A Night of Ever-Flame' is about the "Everflame Mansion". 38:30 So the Paths are kinda complicated. It's kinda similar to DnD religions, if you're familiar with that, but different in some significant ways. Basically, the main character is a "Pathstrider" of the Trailblaze Path. The Stellaron inside the MC gives them, or allows them to draw, power from the Destruction Path in battle. Basically, you can draw power from a Path, without necessarily "walking" that path as your main guiding philosophy. 41:15 AINTNOWAY 43:46 She saw his past, actually. The trailer was her basically playing back his memories, inserting herself in the background, in order to find who's pocket mirror that was. Black Swan is a Memokeeper, a member of "The Garden of Recollection" faction. They serve Fuli, the Aeon Remembrance, giving up their bodies to exist only as memory entities, and have various memory manipulation magics; they use these to try and gather all memories, to offer them to Fuli and to preserve them from being lost. 48:21 You clock a lot of things so quickly lol; exactly correct. 49:26 Hmmge

Just for fun I want to share my personal opinion on the Stelleron Hunters. As on organization I don't think they are actually evil. They purposefully project themselves that way, but as Kafka mentions in the trial short, a lot of the charges attributed to the hunters are actually the fault of other factions. They just end up taking the blame because their methods are intentionally flashy. I won't say they are completely blameless, but they are definitely more grey than black on a moral scale. Kafka for example may have no problem killing people, but she obviously values those close to her. Really the only hunter I think is totally irredeemable is Blad and even he gets off with an insanity plea in my book.

They are part of the Annihilation Gang. As in they are a faction within it. Black Swan literally refers to them as Annihilation Gang (in the animated short) instead of Ever Flame Mansion. And I'm pretty sure the livestream announcement that teased Penacony, introducing the guests, also refered referred to them as part of the Gang.
