Right now I'm going with "his guns do speak but he isn't aware of it." And this isn't Raiden Shogun levels of "can't cook", this is the Black Butler level of "cannot cook, is officially the only cook, and will not tolerate any intrusion on his territory of being the cook."

Rina is in fact, not the cook of the team, that's lycaon; Ellen is too much of a sleepyhead, whatever Rina cooks is downright noxious and only Ellen can stomach it (whenever you try to eat it iin-game, her cooking seem to put you into a nightmare-filled blackout.. and she is completely unaware of how bad her own cooking is, baffling sicne she seems to be skilled at almost anything else she tries) and Corin is already busy with cleaning and Lycaon doesnt want to overburden her with work since she is so stressed all the time already. So if all of Victoria is on the scene, Lycaon will most likely be the one to cook.

idk if anyone has talked about it but Nekomata is also a name for a cat yokai, belonging to the neko class of animal spirit. They are a malevolent yokai who are seen as a type of demonic feline but distinguished from the other neko by the fact they always have two tails. So they are considered as the most evil of all neko in the Japanese folklore and mythology. Also Sweet Pea real name is Koleda Belobog
