Yunjin fun fact is actually inspired and based off Chinese Opera! So at the end is actually voiced by a Chinese Opera singer, additionally in Chinese Opera they would wear flags on the back of their costumes as a symble of an army, and the singer would also perform with a spear and swing it around to immitate soldiers in combat. Chinese Opera was declining in popularity but ever since Genshin released Yunjin and promoted the art, it's been gaining interest as of late, which is great!

Dehya was out there in the first place to save the lives of those guys; she heard this little mercenary splinter group intended to raid Aaru Village, which would naturally have resulted in Candace intercepting and killing them. And while Dehya generally works alone, she is a very experienced mercenary well aware that anybody in the profession you avoid killing is somebody who may at some point in the future be watching your back. She went bare-handed not out of blind rage but because she could afford more control once only fighting one opponent. (The beginning of the demo was Candace seeing the immediate future: she realized there was a threat to the village and Dehya and went out to see how events were really progressing. If Dehya hadn't been able and willing to block her spear, Candace would have killed the others with no regrets. She's significantly more committed to the concepts of peace and civilization than most leaders out in that desert, but Aaru Village really hasn't received a lot of support from the government and police.)

Love how say cyno is the yu-gi-oh boy because in fact in the game he had lot of interactions in events talking about how much he love tcg and even say one of the iconics phrases in the anime "confie no coração das cartas/trust the cards heart" (as a brazilian I dont really remenber if he says it in english, but this is iconic for us who whatched dub yu-gi-oh)

That is awesome!! He even says that. He instantly is my favorite character. I loved yugioh growing up (I still have my Dark Magician deck) so I’m so pumped that there is a tcg in game and Cyno is involved in it. And yup the English phrase is just a little different saying “trust in the heart of the cards” 😊

Your reactions are fun! Love the energy. If you haven't yet, I do recommend reading the official manga. I agree that Amber's fairly weak in the story early on, but she really gets her chance to shine in the manga. It also serves as Collei's backstory so you get to find out exactly why she so deeply admires Amber.

It’s not hard to find though and it only has 16 chapters. Prologue is also a Venti story so maybe that’ll help you decide whether or not to pull :P

Not sure if you know this, but you can get Xiangling for free by getting to a certain point in the Spiral Abyss. She is definitely very powerful Also the thing with Eula is the focus on her normal attacks. She is a cryo character, but she's really good for physical damage. It's why the demo showed her mainly swinging a sword around. Some characters just have abilities that are really good but hard to show.

If you don't see a sword, claymore, spear or bow it's because the weapon is a catalyst Catalysts, as the name suggests, catalyze magic, so this gives the characters who use one the freedom to have very different styles, such as using a weapon that is not one of the game's 4 standard weapons

Mika using a Crossbow Childe using Dual Water Blades that combine into a spear Raiden Sword burst It's not really only Catalyst users that are free to use other weapons

@@hayond656 Alhaitham also uses dual blades and Mika still uses a spear in NA the crossbow is just an integration of his skill, Raiden still uses a spear and a sword, two standard weapons in the game but only catalysts can use their hands on NAs, gauntlets and canes in addition to being able to manipulate the NAs themselves, such as Yae who releases fox spirits or the Wanderer who launches wind blades

@@Keiki-kun Dehya punches, NA uppercut and her entire Burst is just using her Hands So yeah it's not only Catalysts that have the freedom to use different styles All weapon types do is dictate what Weapon Stats they're able to use, it does not strictly dictate how they're able to attack You can have a Sword/Bow/Polearm etc. Character that do Wanderer's hand wind blades and it wouldn't change anything but what Weapon stats are available to them

If you haven't seen them yet, I highly recommend watching all the character teasers next. They give more insight into each character's personality and story. Not all characters get them, unfortunately, but all of the limited 5-stars do. As well as Fischl and two of the Standard 5-stars (Tighnari and Dehya) who had their own limited debut banners but were put in Standard afterwards. ^^ (And, before anyone comments about it, yes, Xiao didn't get a teaser when he was first released, but he got what's basically a teaser trailer back in January 2023)

@@K1ngBard it’s the card game that is very famous in teyvat aka genshin world. It’s a permanent game mode with its own very unique mechanics. It’s pretty complicated at first but once u get a glimpse of it you starts to understand what you should do. Normally we play TCG in Cat’s tail, the café that Diona’s working. But i’m not sure what condition is required to unlocked the quest.

There’s a shop where you can buy all the cards and also the golden which makes the character card burst has an animation effect. And yes there’s also card backs that you can buy in the shop. Mostly by cat currencies and sone cards back use in game materials to buy them

Kazuha was my breaking point to start playing Genshin. I was already really loving Diluc and Aether before Kazuha came out, but I did find myself doodling Kazuha and thinking about genshin, just because how cool Kazuha is. also About Tighnari, his English voice actor has changed earlier this year due to his previous voice actor being into children and was preying on the younger kids, who were fans of him. Now he's voiced by Zachary Gordon who's known to be the voice of Greg in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise.

The reason Sayu's obsessed with sleep is that she wants to be full height for her age (she's about half as tall as she should be). One of her idles is transforming into a mujina. All of the chibikos do an airplane run... or maybe windglider run? Klee shows no mercy or remorse. I remember before Hu Tao was released, Mihoyo was doing their best to avoid mention of her, due to things related to death being bad luck. But players found her background card, and _Staff of Homa_ was clearly designed for her. Her first official mention was the trailer. Kazuha is Best Anemo Boy, and he's like a son to Beidou. His design is also very clearly inspired by Phoenix Fu Hua from _HI3_ . Dan Heng likewise comes from Azure Empyrea Fu Hua. I skipped Baizhu because I'm not taking a sick guy on an adventure. Kaveh is another I skipped. Yae Miko creates Electro fox turrets. She's also the happier version of Yae Sakura from _HI3_ . The little fox on the logo at the end is her true form. YaoYao is another healer. I'd still say Nahida is cuter, though. Faruzan exists to buff other Anemo, most especially Wanderer. She's 'old' because she was stuck solving a puzzle for 100 years. Dori is an Electro healer, but I like Shinobu better. Her JP lines are fun, though. Tighnari's a good Dendro DPS. His shots can home in. He's a Fennec Fox, BTW. His burst confuses enemies caught in its range, making them attack each other, too. Heizhou is the first punchy boy. I am still disappointed the Genshin team didn't bring Gauntlets into the game for him. Rizzley just drives that disappointment home, considering his weapon is actually a mech-tech gauntlet. Gorou provides buffs based on how many Geo characters are in his field, up to 3, including himself. Ayaka is Ayato's younger sister, and her Cryo damage is second to Ganyu's. She is also the second character after Noelle to wear significant armour, and the second character after Mona to have a Special Dash. But since she's Cryo, when she comes up she can freeze water under her, allowing her a moment to recover stamina, but you still have to go back to dash before that ice melts. But now Wriossley is the most efficient water-crosser since his normal attacks can freeze water. Eula is the only dedicated Physical DPS in the game. Not a surprise they haven't added more, since Elemental Reactions are the main source of damage. Yanfei is like a 4-star Klee, only her range is long, like Ningguang's. Rosaria also buffs other Cryo characters, and she has a Talent of running faster at night. She's one of the characters given more conservative clothes for the Chinese server. Xiao is the Pogo Stick of Death. One might choose between him and Kazuha. You might be reminded of Jingliu, but they're not alike. Rather than part demon, Xiao is a demon slayer. His title is 'Conqueror of Demons.' Ganyu is still the strongest DPS in the game, but this relies on having enough time to double-charge her attack. Her horns come from being part-Qilin, a type of dragon. She's an Adeptus like Yanfei and Xaio. Tartaglia was once the best Hydro DPS, but then Yelan came and took away Mister International's crown. He's still good, if you know how to use him. I don't. The long cooldown time between his stance switches are also annoying. Mona was my first 5 star. She has a taunt, and her burst traps targets. She was the first one with a Special Dash. Rather than being broke, it turns out she just spends pretty much as soon as she has money. She works for the newspaper in Fontaine, _The Steambird_ . I still don't have QiQi. She seems to be avoiding me by breaking others' 50/50. She heals on hit, similar to Noelle.

Yes! The demos are so good, the quality of the videos really did improve with time, in the beginning there were introducing the game and were focusing more on gameplay, now the demos serve both to show gameplay and to show the characters personality, super good And the music is always on fire🤩 Some demos might have been more confusing than others but NO SPOILERS, the answer lies on the journey... Or in the comments of people that can't contain themselves😅 Glad to see you like Itto, he's one of my all time favorites🤩🤩🤩 They really know how to sell their characters don't they? They make me want to pull for all of them, unfortunately money isn't endless😅

I do agree that all the cast is just as colorful asf! My only complaint, not enough hot men in other body type. Also I would recommend you look into the lore you'll be surprised how some characters are into it. Archons are typically as MUST pull so plan accordingly. Also the card game is Genshin's version of Yu-Gi-Oh, IE Genius Invocation TCG.

Yeah you're right about that! They really don't have different body types at all. I wonder why that is. I have heard that the lore is pretty awesome, i am just waiting until i get a little further into the game so i don't spoil something for myself and know who the characters are :) And I for sure want to play this card game!!! I really wouldn’t say anyone is a must pull unless you’re a meta player, at the end of the day most people go with someone they like or enjoy the gameplay style of. I’ve also wondered about the body types though, probably partially due to the storage it would take up given how large the game is already, we still had at least 2 nations to go

By the way the fontaine cast literally has the biggest animation , plus Bennett just a Pyro healer that’s legit. And many more so for me though Albedo is okay for my as my fave yet Zhongli legit great Geo stuff Heizou is the first brawler catalyst (mage sorta) Genshin characters are divided to sword , claymore (big sword) , catalyst (mage or some magic book) , polearm (spear) and of course bow And all the demos are legit Archons so far - Venti , Zhongli , Raiden , Nahida and Furina

They definitely have gone all out with Fontaine and it is awesome. I can only imagine the cutscenes and everything else there too. I had a lot of fun watching these and seeing all of the different characters in the game. The game is just so dang good and nobody can change my mind :)

I am sure you noticed that not all chars got demos like Beidou, Sucrose, and Diluc. This only happened when the main game first came out, now pretty much every new char gets a demo now. I am not sure if you are aware at this point too but not all regions have been released. Seeing how you're done with Monstadt, I am sure you've heard of Snezhnaya, it's the region the Fatui come from and the land of the Cryo Archon. That's not released yet. Next year we get the Pyro region, Natlan, and then it'll be Snezhnaya. I have a hard time picking favs and well, husbandos (straight female here). So I've been picking one husbando per region lol. Mondstadt it's Diluc, Liyue it's Xiao, Inazuma it's Ayako, Sumeru it's Alhaitham, and I haven't picked one yet for Fontaine, going to wait for all of it to drop and the Fontaine chars to drop. There's always a possibility I might not pick one, we'll see. I can't pick an overall fav char so here's my favs from the story so far (I've only gotten to the beginning part of Sumeru)- Traveler and Yae Miko. I do play the female char (her in game name is Lumine, fyi, the male traveler's in game name is Aether). And Yae Miko reminds me of myself, just not as 'seductive' lol. Fav char to play is Alhaitham. He became my new main over a month ago after finally building him up. Love playing as him. Oh my fav elements so far surprise me. Under normal circumstances, my fav elements would be Hydro (Water) and Anemo (Wind), but in this case my favs are Dendro (Grass/Flowers) and Electro (Lightning). I will say though Fontaine is my fav region to explore so far. I've always had an affinity for water levels lol.

Ahhh that makes sense. I was actually editing when i realized there were a few characters missing like Diluc lol I actually didn't know that the other regions weren't available yet. That is so exciting that we have those regions coming! The fire region is going to be interesting...i wonder if there will be a volcano lol I like that idea of picking favorite characters based on regions lol it makes it a little easier and who doesn't love a good list :) You have some good picks for favorites. i love Diluc and is a character that i want so bad and Yae Miko seems like she is a tough cookie so a good character to relate too :) I think once i am able to use Dendro I will be right there with you as favorite element. I like the idea of a druid type character.

@@K1ngBard FYI, I don't know if the game has mentioned to you yet, but when the 4.1 update (that's the latest one), you can change your Adventure Rank via the Paimon pause menu to make things easier if the current AR makes enemies too hard for you. But in regards to your AR, once you reach AR 40, you can start doing Character Story Quests and it's another way to test out chars to see if you want them. Like recently I did Xiao's story quest and while I love him story wise, I don't know if I'll ever pull for him because his play style screams high risk/high reward and I am just a casual gamer.

You'll find them in the regular Quest areas just click a different button. I have the game on PS4, so I couldn't tell you the button for a PC.

​@@K1ngBard He makes puns all the time, because CyYu is known for puns. And while Cyno has a natural Yugioh aesthetic (both have egyptian stuff in them), CyYu, afaik, made it even worse. And while the puns and jokes can be funny, it starts to get frustrating when all that people see in the character is only the jokes and the unseriousness. I like some of the puns, but I hate how people can't take characters seriously if they have a stereotype associated with them. They make the character completely one-dimensional, like Zhongli being broke (he merely forgot his money) or Childe being Zhongli's sugar daddy (they barely interacted, and that was bc they were business partners). So many people say "I can't take Cyno seriously anymore", and I hate it. Idk your views on it, form your own opinion. Jokes IMO are good, but taking it so far isn't. Anyways, rant over. Sorry for that.

In my opinion, I don’t think CyYu (Cyno’s voice actor) ruined it, it was mainly the fans. You shouldn’t blame the voice actors for something they can’t control. CyYu should be able to make dad jokes on stream, he shouldn’t have to change his unserious personality to match Cyno’s character just because some people can’t see Cyno’s character for who he is. Cyno barely makes jokes in game (only in limited events and voice lines in the character menu), in fact he doesn’t make a single joke in the archon quest, and I think it’s the same in his story quest. He is always most of the time in game serious. If people can’t see that, then that’s there own fault, and if you can’t deal with that fact that people don’t take Cyno as a serious character? It’s not as big of a deal as you’re making it out to be. If you’re that fed up, then talk to people who you know like Cyno’s personality as it is in game, serious. Again, despise is a huge hateful word for a voice actor of a character who did nothing wrong. It’s kinda childish.

I am a Kaeya Main sience the beginning and I never regret it. He carrys my trough the whole Abyss. Get his C6 after 6 months playing. I still can´t belive my luck! His constellations are harder to get then one of the 5 Stars. Of corse his demo isent that badass like the new ones. He was the first char released. Until today they owe us a better demo. He is also one of the cahracters with the deepest lore...but you will see. You will also notice later in the game, that you dont know much about him. Once you get to AR45 you are able to farm the Blizzard Strayer set. He hits like a truck if you build him right...dont sleep on him...seriously And yes you should consider to pull for Venti. He has the best crowd control (on smaller and normal enemys) in the game.Yes Kazuha proviedes kinda the same but there are situation Venti is the way better choise. And if you let him pass this time maybe you have to wait more than a year to pull for him.

Kokomi is the High Priestess of Sangonomiya in Inazuma. She's basically a regional leader, same as Raiden Shogun. Honestly, I've never used Thoma. I have better shielders, and better Pyro characters. I usually use Bennett and Xiangling. Yoimiya is a lot of fun. She and Amber would be great friends. There was also a limited time event where she met and played with Klee. It was adorable. Sayu has her own trailer. Albedo is the first character I actively skipped. He's not bad, he just doesn't fit into any of my teams. Plus, while Geo is the most stable element, it doesn't mix well with others, so no big numbers. I prefer to use Noelle or Zhongli over him. Raiden Shogun is the Electro itself, and like other Archons, a great Support. But she is nothing before Raiden Mei, the Herrscher of Thunder from _Honkai Impact 3rd_ . Yun Jing has two sets of voice actors, one for regular speaking, and her Peking Opera Singer. If you have the captions on, you can see what she said at the end of her trailer (basically cueing the maestro). Because of her buffs, she's best with Gorou and one more Geo. What's funny is I forgot Fischl's basic attacks in _Genshin_ are all Physical, because all her attacks in _HI3_ are Lightning. Keqing was also in the crossover event, but not permenant. Diona has excellent utility. If they ever make an aged-up version for later in the story, I hope they boost her attack, too. She'd be a more experienced adventurer by that time, after all. al-Haitham and Keqing have similar abilities, albeit in different elements and at different ranges. What Keqing throws to teleport to is an Electro Stiletto. It stays for a few seconds so you can jump to it if you want to (hold, aim, release). Or you can double-tap and jump quickly. Yes, we can and _will_ rescue our pure turnip Dendro Archon Nahi-Nahi. Yelan and Sayu both have some fun running around Elemental Skills. But Yelan hits much harder. She's fun to use. Since Ayato's burst has such a large AoE, I sometimes like to use it with Ganyu's, which also has a big AoE. The combination means a lot of things get Frozen. Combined with grouping like Kazuha's, and you get a zone from which no small enemy can escape. Itto can be a lot of fun. His greatsword also works for Noelle. Oh, and his VA is Ichigo Kurosaki too. Cyno's a big fan of Genius Invocation TCG. And he's a big Electro DPS. Also, voiced by CyYu, like Jing Yuan after him. I don't have Deyha, but I do know she's invincible in Dragonspine. Nilou is another character I skipped. I think I prefer Sanedina from _HI3 Part 2_, and she's not even out yet. Nor does _HI3_ actually have a Hydro element in the first place. Interesting that Freminet is the first character to ever be depicted with the Bell. It's been around since launch, and nobody's wanted it. I don't have Mika either. Collei was featured in the prequel manga. I recommend giving it a look. Candace has a parry, like Beidou. I forgot Lynette also has a running Skill. Everyone got her for the anniversary. I don't know why only she has Katzlein features out of the three siblings. Kirira also has a run Skill, but of course I forgot, I don't have her. It'd be nice to have a banner with all of the newer 4-stars. Venti's was the first 5-star teaser, like Kaeya's was for 4-stars. I like Kazuha better, but if you want height, only Wanderer can go higher on his own -- because he flies for a bit. BTW, we meet him first in Version 1.1, the limited time event 'Unreconciled Stars.' Or do we? Zhongli still has the best shield, but of course, he is the CEO of Geo. Sara is tough but fair, a Tengu warrior, _and_ a general in Raiden's army. Xinyan is a Pyro shielder, same as Thoma. Unfortunately she only gets spotlighted in limited time events. Shenhe enhances other Cryo characters. Fun fact: she was released the same time another strong, busty Ice girl was revealed - Timido Cute in _HI3_ 's APHO Chapter 2. Shinobu is our first Electro healer, and she's pretty good. Xiangling is a good Pyro DPS if you don't have Hu Tao. But you get her free from clearing Spiral Abyss, Floor 3. Aloy is no longer obtainable, but Diona and Ganyu are better options anyway: Diona has better utility, and Ganyu hits _much_ harder. You also couldn't get Constellations for her. Sadly, no story for how she got to Teyvat either. Layla, like Diona, has a shield, but unlike her, does not heal. Her design is based on that of Sirin from _HI3_ , but they have very different personalities. If I had to choose between Lyney and Yoimiya as my Pyro Archer, I might choose Lyney, since he seems to be less single-target focused, but I already have Yoimiya, so I skipped him. But my biggest source of disappointment is that unlike the twins in _HI3_ , Rozaliya and Liliya, Lyney and Lynette don't have a special joint attack or burst if you field them together. It's just normal Elemental Reactions.

Just so you know, Heizou and Wriothsley use the same weapon type as Lisa and Sucrose, Catalysts. I have no idea why they did this, but I wish there were more melee Catalyst users... Edit: AGH!!! There is an English version of Fischl's character trailer, I have no idea why the Chinese version is in the playlist instead >:T Edit 2: Aloy is intensely frustrating to me. I didn't manage to get her, which means that the archive and character archive will permanently have holes in them that I won't be able to fill. Additionally, instead of giving her a collectible item to upgrade her Constellation like the Traveler, she is just permanently stuck at her base. This means that Aloy's full potential pales in comparison to literally any other character in the game. While I understand the crossover only being a limited-time event, I'm of the opinion that it wasn't handled very well >:T

because a catalyst simply only catalyzes magic, it's basically a free pass in Genshin to make different weapons you can be a spell caster use a staff, a magic rod or use magic in your fists like monks a catalyst is simply an object where you concentrate your magic

@@andrewstephenson5825 well Sucrose is one of the best reaction supports in the game that can share EM and is a battery for the team Lisa can lower the defense of enemies in her base kit, meaning literally extra damage for free and Barbara can revive a character with constellation and due to Mihoyo's carelessness they left her with a high damage multiplier so you can use her as DPS and it's viable catalyst was never the weakest weapon at the beginning of the game, the weakest were the claymores

@@K1ngBard If you do, maybe start with 'Honkai Chronicles: Mobile Operations Centre.' It's an introduction to Honkaiverse. While a lot of the info on Honkai is outdated due to Unreliable Narrator being a device Mihoyo likes to use a lot (so we learn as the characters do), the rest of the info there is still good. Mostly it's historical context.

Neuvillette? Hmmm, what else can I say... he is the supporting actors in fontaine Archon quest 1, and the main star in Archon quest 2. His existence actually brought huge impact on Fontaine... safe to say, he is actually reincarnated. His former form is... I won't tell, you will found out about it in fontaine Archon quest 2. But overall, he can solo Abyss 12 lmao. To me, Neuvillette is a must have character. Do not be fooled by his pompous 18th century French fashion and demeanor. He's the best ojii-san (grandpa) in Genshin Impact lmao.

@@K1ngBard no prob, do enjoy playing Neuvillette since you did pulled and got him. Well, one of the early spoilers of who he actually is... on his voiceline ascension conclusion lvl 90. I did my Neuvillette nice; gotten him up to lvl 90, complete set artifact Merchausee Hunter (focusing more on stat +hp, +crit rate and dmg, and goblet +hydro attack %), and talent now is on 9/9/9. But when I listened to his full ascension lvl 90 voiceline, dang it's creepy and quite scary lmao. Really, not fitting for a gentle old man like him. xD

@@K1ngBard that's just we being two little fellas who love Neuvillette lmao. Aww thanks! I must admit, I never had lots of excitement in building characters until I pulled for Neuvillette. Even my Alhaitham now is still at talent 8/7/7, and he is supposed to be one of the best dendro dps characters in game. My Yelan is still at talent 6/6/6 (sorry Yelan), and my Zhongli is still on 7/6/6. It's like, Neuvillette has some things that rather piqued my interest the moment we first saw him in the 4.0 archon quest. His soft attitudes, his gentle and soothing voice, his awkwardness in trying to get our attention, his conflicts of emotions, and how he lives to learn more about humanity instead of hating on them. And yes, Neuvillette is one of the rare characters in the game that really respect and appreciate having traveler and paimon on his side. I think yeah, that hooked me up real fast lmao.

waaiiiiittttt am i having deja vu or its just me ;) ? (im actually pretty sure you did a video seeing the character demo xD but im not maybe im mistaken xD) hahaha yeah the character in genshin is definitely one of the biggest strong point of the game. that, the world, the lore, the athmosphere and the story are just fitting within each other so well. all character feel like they actually belong in the world in a believing and natural way. it really make the whole world feel fleshed out. edit: oh Aloy is from horizon yes! that was a sort of partnership hoyoverse and sony did. aloy was gifted to player owning a playstation console and then 1 moth after they gifted her to everyone. unfortunately she is the only colab character ever made :/ and i think its partly because Aloy was very poorly made (her kit have a ton of problems and her scalling is super underwhelming for a 5*. she is considered the worst character in the whole game as she have no real use. she doesnt do enough dmg to be a dps, she doesnt have any supporting abilities, she doesnt heal or shield. so she is the most barren character in the game. and the worst is a little tweak from her kit that would allow her to proc one of her passive ability more consistently and a little bit of a stat boost and she would be actually a solid character. it shows that even the worst character is still technically viable... its just shes a pain in the butt to play lol. me being a super big fan of horizon, i was super desapointed by the kit.... but i really freaking love her still!!!)
