not the best set but they cany all be...still not a bad addition and theres def some cards i want...greninja,infernape,manaphy,eevee all the full arts....scarlet and violet era has been really good imo

The problem is with this set is that their are so many more cards you wouldn't want vs cards you would want moreso than other sets. It's super top-heavy with carmine / perrin and then what? SIR trainers are all good, the sir pokemon are very bad (including greninja), and ursuluna is the only real SIR pokemon you would want. Illustration rares are okay, but you have some of the worst ever printed like enamorous. You are better off buying eevee to flip long-term. Full art at least perrin has some value being naoki saito card. Overall too many terrible cards vs good. I think it's the worst lineup overall inside of scarlet and violet era sets.

Wow, I wouldn't spend more than $3 on any of these SIR's. I wonder if they're intentionally doing this to make a cheaper set with more affordable singles or something? There's no way anyone at the Pokemon company saw this set and thought it looked good haha.

PR is significantly better imo. TM is easily my least favorite set, besides SV Base, to be released to date. I like the Eevee and Infernape and thats about it. Those mask cards are just a no for me. A lot of the other Art Rares are very similar to previous cards we've seen already. Zero interest in ripping this set but like you I'll grab one at my LCS for $95 and leave it there for now. Sorry to sound negative but I'm just not feeling this one, like most of the SV era, which is another reason SWSH era stuff is popping off. That era may go down in history as one of if not the best in Pokemon history. Hoping that Pokemon actually produces a set that I'm all in on in the near future, TM is certainly not it.

Totally agree. I this SV base at least has reallllly nice looking cards. Like proper alt art quality artwork. The values aren't high but at least the art is super good. Twilight Masquerdud has nothing going for it. The top tier pulls are all either ugly, or trainer cards that don't look any better than regular full arts. This will def be the Darkness Ablaze of SV era.

Not sure why people like to compare the first half of SV sets with the back half of SWSH sets when SWSH first half sets didn't really stand out too much and are similar or worse compared to the SV sets out right now. SWSH would be not be as hype as it is if it weren't for the sets in the back half of the era with the notorious difficult pull rates and insane artworks. TM doesn't seem to be as liked on release which is very similar to CR but look at CR now. Not every set has to be filled with bangers or else everything would be too expensive for casual collectors. Also, this set focuses more on fixing competitive play which is more important then focusing on the collector side of things. We are also moving into the back half of SV and it looks promising since the first half is already WAY BETTER than the first half of SWSH.

Literally nobody cares about this set!! Japan have crossed the line way too many sets and far to many reprints! Hopefully it shoots pokemon tcg in the foot and brings them back to earth, where has their pride gone? Collectors keep this hobby going if they can't keep up it's over. Go down same root as funko pop at your own peril! End of day it's a piece of printed cardboard if push comes to shove you could see fancy 400 dollar cards going for 80 to 120 dollars!
