only a handful were by inmates, the rest were suicide and a ton of ODs. I was locked there during all this in 2019, where we had a bunch of suicides and at one point there were 14 people taken to the hospital from OD and i know 2 died. They would take out all the articles about the jail investigations from the newspapers so we couldnt see cause they worried it would cause a riot.

Not only that the as county intake is full of trash the officers don’t clean it out! You have to sleep on top of trash bec the holding cells are so packed . Disgusting !

inmates workers are supposed to clean that up. I had to do it before, but we could only clear the cells after people had been taken out of it. Pretty much youll sit on that trash, everyone gets processed, we clear it out, and the process repeats. If people had some respect and put all their trash into a corner like some do then it would be no big deal, but we got too many j cats and bums just tossing it wherever
