Whether you think Catholic practices are wrong doesn't matter. It is still Christian by definition because it believes in Jesus Christ. You Protestants can deny it all you want, but Roman Catholicism IS Christian. It is the original Church and the Pope is the successor of St. Peter.

It's not a personal thing. The fact is, it is specifically the American branches of Protestantism that calls itself Christian and negates other denominations. The Anglicans and Lutherans don't do that.

Faith without evidence makes no sense at all. The complexity of the world doesn't tell you anything about the existence of a deity. You don't have evidence of your deity, you just believe that there "must" be one based on your assumption that complexity requires a deity. Do you think it's special that we're here? It's not special, the process to get to this point is incredible but it's not magic. We're here because we could be here. Nothing indicates the need for a deity or creator.
