A real world review of the latest generation of 911 Porsche has to offer, the 992. This one in particular is the Carrera 2 S in Cabriolet form with almost every option ticked. Is the 911 still the king of the sports car/grand tourer category?

I'm looking at a hardtop version - I've looked at all of the other bigger channels (usual suspects Carfection, Harry's Garage, JayEm etc etc) , but got to say that your review is the one that has pushed me over the hill. I have test drivem an Evora (bit of a kit car) an R8 (no back seat for my daughter). I considered an Aston but not tried one, but the Porsche seems to tick all of the boxes. My 992 test drive was cancelled right in the week of lockdown so I need to arrange a test soon. Nice honest review.

Appreciate the comments! The 911 has been the king when it comes to the perfect all round sports car...and this 992 is no exception, the best yet, as you’d expect by the Germans 👍🏽

NIce report. Strange to see the logos on the centre caps of the alloys are not fitted according to Porsche standards. That doesn't happen often on Porsches.

Good video. Nice to have a real world perspective on these cars. Wish you had more exterior driving shots though. I guess you eventually need someone else to help you film, or a drone instead.

Good video, but I'm surprised you didn't put it into wet mode to see if it really helped getting around the corners on the damp roads. Also, was it hard to return to the automatic mode of the PDK when in manual? Thanks.

Easy to tell the difference - hood has 1970’s indentations - and squared off edges on the hood - rear ended is different also -

Many of the points you made is why I prefer the 991.2. The rear of the 992 is just odd.

They're not the matrix lights, the bonnet has a more square nose rather then the outgoing model being more curved, few mistakes and i'm only in 2.09

The cab ruins the lines a little , too bulbous at the back. Design is on point more angular , 991 was softer looking for sure.
