Fair review. As a Bahamian, I would encourage all cruisers to come back via airplane so they can spend more time in The Bahamas because honestly when guest come via cruise ship, they don't experience even a quarter of an authentic Bahamian experience. A must do is to visit the outer islands like Eleuthera and Exuma.

Can you access the port shops if you didn't come in on a cruise...if you flew into Nassau?

Yes, they don’t restrict access.

When purchasing items do the shops accept cards or is cash preferred? And if I bring cash what is a suggested amount for a few trinkets?

Cash is usually going to be King. However, the merchants really don’t seem to mind or care that much. When you go into the flea market, I think they prefer cash. For me. I really don’t trust my credit card information to these merchants. You can get away with five dollars for a trinket.

That is a good question. Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to that question.

I hope no one spend smoney on excursions.. did seim with pigs for over 300 and that was the worst thing i spend my money on.
