My fav way to eat and explore is to get away from typical spots and venture further in. Go across from the main lagoon in blue lagoon and you’ll find an amazing less crowded beach with amazing snorkeling

I recommend you skip Atlantis if you want value for your money. I took my family on cruises that stopped at Nassau and both August 2023 and March 2024. Atlantis is overpriced. Every waterpark that I’ve been to in the United States costed no more than 60% of what I pay for Atlantis. The beaches and the pools at Atlantis are very nice, but by the time cruise ship passengers arrive guest in the Atlantis hotel towers have occupied every seat you have to pay for a locker. The lines for the waterslides are long. They even shut down a slide while I was in line without telling the guests. Pricing is dynamic. I paid $220 per adult and $116 per child. Like one lady from another cruise ship I spoke to while we were in line for a water slide stated “ $220 and I have to buy my own lunch.”

We are coming to Nassau with older teens 16-25. What do you recommend? Was thinking Atlantis but it would be a mortgage payment. Would Blue Lagoon or Pearl Island be better? Wanted to do swimming with the pigs but I have heard it is expensive for what it is and its short.

Hi Erin, wishing you an amazing time in Nassau, and on the Ascent! Mr Tropical and Mr Yellow are both at Montagu Beach. It's too far to walk. You will need a cab. The beaches there are beautiful, with nobody on them!
