Changing the visual using the ribbon - oh what a shame. I like the new excel like UI but the best part was that everytime I tried to create a new visual it did actually create a new one. Now I'll be back to my old routine of changing the first visual, swearing aloud, going back to fix the first visual, then repeating the process before finally clicking a piece of blank space and doing it properly.

Could you guide how to add a value in the filter in the latest version of Power BI. I wanted to apply top n filtering, but it is not allowing me to add the value by which the filter should be applied.

Thanks, v helpful as usual. I look forward to your explanation of Matchby, I don't get it. I agree about the new formatting. At first I wasn't a fan, but now I can't imagine working in the old way. For instance it's great that in a table I can now select a column and choose Format values > Add cell elements and then apply conditional formatting, which I think is new/newish.

If you use paid custom visuals you can have them or azure maps

I had to revert back from the new formatting pane. I could not, despite extensive searching, find how to add a constant line/min line/max line etc, in the new formatting pane. I'd love to change to the new option but until I can figure this out I can't. Anyone want to point me in the right direction?

Hi, Analytics features were on their own tab in the Visualizations pane. With the removal of the Visualizations pane, we've added the analytics features to the Format pane as elements to add to your visual. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-format-pane

The change in the browser interface in Power BI service also is something I don't like . So sad sometimes Microsoft just change not for the better but just change for the sake of change :(
