Wow! That's somehow the tool I've always needed. The previous color mixer always felt kinda off and often had to use the masking tool to finish the job.

Wow! I played a little with this tool when I first saw it but found it hard to use. (Just need more practice and some trial and error). But this video was the best one that I have seen so far and is a GREAT kickstart. Thanks!

I love to hear it! And I do agree, the Point Color tool can be a lot to throw at someone. That's why I really wanted to spend a lot of time on those range tools. Glad you found it helpful!

Wow! This is huge. Although I've been snapping away for 50 years on a selection of 35mm cameras, I have only used lightroom for a year. Seems to me that there have been massive changes in that time. At 66yo lots of it used to fly over my head but you explain it so well that makes it easy for me to understand. Looking forward to using Lightroomeverywhere. Thanks Brian.

Great tutorial on one of LR's most powerful tools. I have been waiting for this feature for 10+ years. Color adjustments always felt too global in the past.

Yeah, it's a heavy one. I was actually thinking of replacing the Point Color video in Lightroom Everywhere with this one because I feel like it better coveys the effect that the tool has on image color.

I didn’t get to that one yet in the course. Watched a couple of others on you tube. This one makes the most sense and is very well done.

Great video! I've been looking for a comprehensive course on Lightroom! However, when I tried to enroll on your website, the link is not active. I'm assuming you're updating the course with these latest tools. I would like your opinion on a photo managing question. I take multiple images (of the same subject, i.e, architectural symmetry, etc.) and group them into stacks in LR as part of my workflow. Do you recommend deleting the extra images once you've "developed" the best image of the group?
@brianmatiash Жыл бұрын
Thank you for bringing up that website issue! I just fixed it and everything should be working properly. I do hope you consider enrolling as the course is filled with TONS of great info. As for your question, absolutely. I'm a big advocate for "photo hygiene." If you took 10 photos of basically the same thing, I see no reason whatsoever to keep all of them. I'd select the best one or two photos from the group and wipe the rest of them. The same would go for an action sequence. Unless I absolutely need the entire sequence of photos, I'd isolate the most impactful moments and delete the rest.

Adobe…if you’re listening don’t remove HSL. Point Color is great for ultra-precise color control but HSL still has its place.
