Yup, I’ve gotten rid of all my Amex metal cards including the platinum and gold. I do have 3 Aspires and a bonvoy brilliant, so I don’t think Amex is complaining about my annual fees I give them every year 😅

Honestly a sapphire preferred is the closest thing to that actually if you grocery shop at Publix. The sapphire already gets 5x on travel. But if you shop at Publix, all you have to get the Publix app, add your sapphire preferred to your payments and pay through the app in store, you’ll get 3x back! I do this regularly. As paying via the Publix app, it codes as “online groceries” which is a 3x multiplyer. Hope this helps you!

We are on our 3rd year of freedoms with x5 grocerys. 2 of the years it also included gas at x5. In branch it's available right now. Next year since my freedoms are over 24 months I will start over What you want is available and is offered several times a year.

Great to hear, need a new business card. Got the premier but didn’t know I couldn’t transfer to partners until I tired to do it in the portal. This would offer me a lot more flexibility. Hopefully they have some useful point category multipliers or a 1.5x across the board.

Just booked a 9 day ritz carlton trip on points valued at $8,644 in cash value from the sign up bonus on the brilliant for myself and my wife as well as three free nights from the boundless. And we still have like 150k points left over to use Question, should i be using another card rather than the brilliant for everyday spend to earn more then 2-3X points. Is there a chase card or similar that would earn 4-6x points that can be transferred to marriott points?
