Be careful though, I have their open clamps type 1 for German afv and I won’t argue that the detail is incredible but they can be difficult to keep in one piece removing them. Very very delicate so for some items PE might be a better solution.

I find its best to use a razor saw to remove the 3d printed parts without damaging the part😁

These all look great, only concern i have is most modelers i know like to bend the grille mesh covers in some around the support. Which is easier in PE. So those might not sell as well as they could if they where pre worn etc.

Most definetly. I also like to tear chunks out of the pe but you cant do that with resin.

I used a set of the panzer 4 tracks, much better than cast metal and very realistic look.

I'm a bit confused by the panther grills. I assume they shouldn't be used on kits that already have the vent molded into the upper hull. In that case, just the PE mesh is preferred.

Their detail parts are amazing but I couldn't get the tracks to fit right on my Dragon Stug III. They seemed too tight & the smaller tracks are easy to break.

T-rex should do a set of idler wheels for the tamiya U.S. halftracks, since the kit parts don't have the cutouts.

I am thrilled with the technology that has expanded the scale modeling world. A lot of Love/Hate elements to it as I love & hate CA glue. I love & hate 3-D filament plastic. I love & hate resin aftermarket products that are poured resin. I love & hate Photo Etch. I love & hate all products made from ABS plastic. I love & hate resin in any form. I love & hate using an air brush. And I love & hate to do rigging. Despise tiny parts that could have just been molded on. The parts you say out loud "Big Deal" once you get it attached.

Back in my day ( ! ) we were lucky to have Verlinden..... Now with all these 3d print, detailing can be fantastic, as your videos from Japan show. I also wonder if Sci-Fi modellers could make use of some of these parts.....and is it a fond farewell to Photo-etch...?

These look great! I tried a 3D printed set from MIG and I was not happy at all with it. It was a tool set for US Tanks and the scale was wrong, parts not properly or fully printed. They were a mess. Thankfully the seller gave me a refund, though I think MIG should've been on the hook. I won't buy another of their sets, but I'd certainly give T-Rex a good hard look prices not withstanding. The prices have to be reasonable. If they are these are a go.

I just must be unlucky because both of the track set I purchased from you needed clean and with the Luch's set of tracks, most of the pins were unusable. The Ferdinand set didn't have enough of tracks w/o guide horns. Both sets needed considerable cleanup.

If you live in the UK AFV Modeller has T-Rex . Now these and Heavy Hobby do have some very nice sets. As per another comment the thing with T-Rex tracks especially the Tiger I sets are the guide teeth are way to brittle where as the HH tracks far more sturdy I have found. If anyone has the Border Models Mobilewagen then Heavy Hobby has an excellent set for that kit especially the spent shell basket 😉

I have no experience with printed parts. would someone comment on how fragile they are to work with. For example, what are my chances of adding the front assembly on to my 1/35 Kettenkrad and having the wire to the headlight be intact when I am finished?

t-rex is garbage...i grabbed some of their 50 cal,mg42/34 etc...complete garbage.a lot of it is printed in clear resin and it doesn't become clearly apparent just how bad this rubbish is until primer is added.most of it looks worse than the kit parts they were intended to replace.steer clear.
