I ordered the underdrive boom racing it got here already its in installed and it works. Its just that when going in reverse and when i let off the gas it makes a clicking noise. I inspected it and there is a little play in ring gear. Causing the gear mesh to kinda bind up and skip at tooth. Today i will shim it and get it snugged up in there amd make sure i have my gear mesh just right. Thanks for the lollipops that you included in my order gave them to my daughter. That was a nice touch. I will definitely be buying more stuff from you because i like how your customer service is absolutely wonderful thanks.

Yeah the mesh could be the issue there. You are going to basically a smaller ring gear, so there will have to be some shimming involved more than likely. and Thanks.

@@DixielandRC no more clicking noise at all runs smooth gear mesh is perfect. I shimmed the bevel gear Nd i shimmed the outside of the pinion gear in between where the driveline and the end pinion gear connect. It worked like a charm no noise so happy. Thankyou man i will tell all my friends about ordering from DixielandR/C let them know you guys value your customers and take time to answer questions to then best of your knowledge. Oh yeah your quick shipping too. Thanks again i already went to test it out this morning it does help with that underdrive in the back.

Hi, I saw your review, I really liked it, I tried to find if you had subsequently published a video where you showed when you mounted them on the car but I couldn't find it. I ask this because I have found that some kits (non-Incision) do not fit in the Axial housings. Thank you

I have a deadbolt 2 if i just use the lowers will i be able to keep my 12 inch wheelbase and if i use them all uppers and lowers what will my wheelbase measure out to TIA

This kit is for a 12.3 wheelbase. You can change to that and it shouldnt be that noticeable on the deadbolt. The front geometry stays the same only the rear is longer.

@@DixielandRC the 10.2 is 3 link and panhard front, that looks like 4 link and servo on axle set up. Not judging the quality, just think its for the old trucks. Even though I don’t understand why a servo on axle setup would need a bent steering link. ?

Yep. Im with you. It is odd. I guess when I install them we shall see whats going on. I however wont be using the uppers, I will just reuse the stock uppers.
