Is this dust collector okay to use for acrylic dust aswell. The rechargeable ones are not and just gel dust. I'm really looking into investing in this. What Voltage: AC 110V(US Plug) / 220V (EU Plug) Also, what kind of plug does it come in?

Yes, you can use our dust collector for both acrylic, hard gel or soft gel. Our products are manufactured for US outlets, which are 110 volts. In order to use with 220v, you would need an adapter/converter.

I use a hand raiser with my clients. Will the suction still be strong enough for fine particles if the hand is a few inches above instead of right over?

It will still work if you are within about 6" but the farther away you are, the more the suction will diminish.
