I have the 52" and have never taken it fishing. It has become extremely hard to operate although I have lubricated it with silicon spray. Its hard to open fully and even harder to close, requiring bumping the end opposite to the net on the pavement while holding the slide. It seems that the mechanism is going way past "dead center" and it locks up. I wish someone from Frabill would contact me to help me remedy this issues.
