Would’ve loved to see the rest done with some neon cream clays solid color with glitter press and even some see through mani q jelly’s with Tracey’s glitter press combos to match! What a wonderful set. Doing a neighbor’s nail’s for her beach vacation (not anywhere near as long mind you) but I love these and may do something similar with the products I have. I have neon yellow and pink with the same in the see through jelly colors with a glitter press on them on my nails and have gotten many compliments. I’m not usually a bright color girl so this was out of my comfort but it’s grown on me. My neighbor already likes my two color and glitter press design so I bet she’d love all the other colors like this on a few with the rest some solid and some jelly with a glitter press.

Can you use fiber gel for the entire service (in place of synergy)?

We don't recommend using fiber gel for long extensions as it is a soft gel. The most would be active length nails.

With this style can I use regular white nail polish and then the regular acrylic colors and then incap with clear acrylic?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
You can encapsulate your art as long as the polish is completely dry. If it is not dry, it can smudge or smear.

So so inspiring! Couple questions. How do you decide when to use a tip or form? When using a tip, do you recommend always using fiber gel to apply or sometimes glue?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
It really depends on your comfort level and the needs of the client. When doing XL nails, it can be easier to use a tip like in the video, but it can be a personal preference. If you are more comfortable sculpting, you can use that technique as well. Using Fiber Gel to adhere the tips can give you a stronger bond for longer adhesion and wearability when applying tips.

As a hard/builder gel nail tech from the UK i felt i had to comment (please don't bash me) on one part of the prep,she talked about tips and said she only adheres them right on the tip of the free edge but here it clearly shows the tip being applied about a quarter up....Before anyone shouts badmouths me i do like Youngnails but feel sometimes their videos could use a rework
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your feedback. Please keep in mind our videos are filmed in high definition, so everything does look bigger than in person. She does adhere the tip toward the end of the nail, but not right at the free edge. You do need some space for the tip to adhere to otherwise, as you are blending and removing shine, if the nail was too close to the free edge or does not have enough nail to hold onto, it can potentially snap off. Where she adheres the nail will give the nail 2-3 weeks worth of growth and then can be easily clipped off to change out if the client wants a different design.

What is a no well tip?
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
A no-well tip doesn't have a specific "well" or space where the natural nail would fit when applying it. With a no-well tip, you can choose how much or how little of the tip is adhered to the natural nail.

I'm confused about the pricing... You say you charge $10. for doing a dementional nail, but you also charge per color you use. So what exactly is the 10. for?? Applying the 5 colors?? If she wanted each nail a different color, you would add and extra $50 to the set ( $5 per color) but we never charged a extra price to apply them... I thought that's kind of included in the $5. $5 is more than actual product cost. I am just trying to figure out how were explaining these charges to the client... 😊
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
It’s $5 for each glitter used and then the $10 for each dimensional nail. You are charging for the technique and time it takes to so that type of design.
@catpride1323 Жыл бұрын
Oh, okay.... Because doing those nails or design takes longer, and is more work.. The technique !! Gotcha!! Thanks for answering 😊
@catpride1323 Жыл бұрын
In the 2nd price, where you've given yourself a raise, your price for length jumped from $150. to $200. Would you actually do a jump that high, all at once? Or would you gradually raise it? From 150 to 160 or 170. then later up again to 180 or 190... I just think if I told anyone I am raising my prices by $50. Per set of nails... I am going to lose a lot of clients... 😢
@youngnailsinc Жыл бұрын
It seems like a large jump, but when you raise your prices you would let your clients know about it before hand. So going into the appointment they would already we aware of what price you charge for that length since it was previously discussed when they made the appointment. Same with the $10 per dimensional nail. If they didn’t want to pay more than the $200 for that length then they wouldn’t get any dimensional art or maybe just one per hand so it’s $20 more.
@catpride1323 Жыл бұрын
@@youngnailsinc No, of course I understand we make them aware before hand... Not Surprize!! You owe me $200. today... lol But wow... like that's a massive raise... 33.3 % to be exact.. I guess I'm just used to hearing Tracy say add $5. ... And we have always been gradual in the salon... well, most retail is gradual, so they really don't notice, dont feel the raise... Its still in their budget... I would think I would jump out of many people's budgets, real quick. But I do really appreciate your replying and your honesty... Another way to do things is what's brings about change, or at least thought and conversation. 😊
@Twins_and_friends7 Жыл бұрын
A $50 jump is insane, theres no need to pay $265 for a set of nails, theres lots of incredible nail techs that dont charge that much
