You can adhere them with acrylic but you have to make sure you apply the acrylic to the under side of the tip and the tip onto the natural nail before it dries.

We're experiencing extreme heat in the Caribbean where i live at the moment, any suggestions regarding how the product may behave in these conditions. Would hard gel or acrylic be best in this heat?

In hot weather, acrylic will set faster than in cooler weather. Gel will flow and feel “runnier” than in cooler temps. What you work with would depend on your comfort level. If you prefer acrylic, you may want to try the Core powders as these normally set a little slower than the Speed powders and may be easier in hot temperatures.

@@vibenaillounge I have just about every design you’ve done saved. You truly have so many fans and when someone does a recreation I can spot it right away! I recently did your galaxy design using that technique but with peach in juice me and did a nail critique with that set on YN’s twitch during a call in last month. I’m crayzeecatlady on there and about 2 years in on my diy nail journey. My non dominant hand is on a learning curve 😆 but my dominant hands really getting it now a days. Good thing I wouldn’t be doing peoples nails with my opposite hand 🙏😜. Anyway, we love you Mjay and are so thankful for all you’ve taught us and the wonderful designs you’ve shared with us. I never understood full cover tips bc there is no apex and they are super flat! The idea of them is to make the process faster but to me they arnt bc you have to then build a nail on top of that full cover tip to make it properly built and wont break! So whats the point in putting a full cover tip on instead of just putting a regular tip on and built it that way? There is none! Lol it would take longer bc you gotta prep every tip and cure every finger when you can just glue on a regular tip in seconds and be done! Lol Not saying your full cover tips are bad or dumb but the concept of all full cover tips from all companies are just pointless in my own opinion! Just do the regular way we being doing for decades and use a regular tip it will be less hassel and faster! END RANT! 😂😂😂

I can’t say anything about other brands, but Young Nails Full Cover tips have a very nice shape to them. They may be flatter than a sculpted nail, but I definitely wouldn’t call them “flat” flat. When I apply them with Fiber gel I can wear them at least a month (I fill them at two weeks). I don’t put anything other than gel polish on top and I have never had one break or bend or peel. They are very sturdy. And for someone like me who is DIY, I can promise they are so much easier than sculpting. If you’re a nail tech, and do nails day in and day out, then they probably aren’t any quicker. And a beautiful sculpted nail is always a winner.
